Total lifesaver after total shoulder replacement
This pillow is the perfect size and firmness. It really relieves the pain I felt once I didn’t have to be in a sling anymore. I would just park it under my arm and walk around and sit with it. I especially like that the cover can be removed for washing. It is SO comfortable after enduring that giant block that is attached to the sling after surgery.

The outer and inner material is cotton, making it much more comfortable than others
After my rotator cuff surgery, I tried many of these pillows for comfort and care for the shoulder. Most of these types of pillows are different because one may be larger than others. This pillow is of medium size. But the best part is that the fabrics are cotton. This makes a huge difference because you sit for a long time with the fabric near your skin. If the fabric does not breathe, your skin will sweat and you can get irritation, fungus, exczema, or just dermatitis. This makes your experience very uncomfortable. Therefore, I have found this pillow to be the best alternative. However, keep in mind, that no pillow is perfect. After all, we are having to keep the arm and shoulder relatively immobile and in an abducted position. Even this pillow will lead to some skin irritation if you sit for long periods and you are subject to eczema. You can keep a cotton towel between the pillow and your skin to help even this pillow be more friendly to your skin. Of the many pillows I have tried, this one is the best overall.

Cover is NOT removable!
The pillow is soft, firm, and comfortable. It does help with shoulder pain. However, it does not have a cover that comes off. It has a tiny zipper area that has about a 3 inch opening. It has loose stuffing inside. This would be super messy and very annoying to remove and re-stuff after washing.

Helps me sleep
Broke my shoulder was not able to sleep anywhere this pillow holds everything in place and is easy to use wish I would have bike it sooner
