I ordered this and never received it. Traditionally speaking the pudding does not need to be refrigerated. It’s like a fruitcake.

There is no difference. The pre-Victorian use of the word "plums" was a term for raisins. Christmas pudding contains no actual plums.

Q: Can you flambé this pudding?

We have poured warmed brandy over these in the past and lit the brandy, if that's what you're asking.
