Yes it is a bit dry but... it is the king
The texture is perfect, but the bread is a hair dry. This is perfect on a sandwich like a cuban, or pulled pork, or really anything with a strong flavor. I couldn't tell it was 0 carb 0 sugar. I made a pb&j with sugar free jam and super low carb and low sugar pb. The result was interesting. The jam is less sweet than the powdered peanuts, so you need more jam than pb. The only thing that's rough is the price. At 14 dollars per loaf, it is prohibitively expensive. As for worth? If you are diabetic, this is it. No carbs. No sugar. 5g of protein. The only other thing you could make that could match this is egg-white bread, which as the name suggests is bread made almost solely from egg-whites. That is DEFINITELY the more cost effective option, but doesn't have a thick texture. For now, this is the king of the 0 carb 0 sugar breads. I think I'm going to make a grilled cheese with it and see how that comes out. If they can get the price down to 8 bucks a loaf, I would be buying this all the time, but at 14, it's a bit too expensive. The extra will go in the freezer until I need it.

Yeah man, it's bread without the bread
We're all here because we're middle aged and probably enjoyed a bit too much food in our 20s and didn't change things up after our metabolisms slowed. This is the best alternative out there. No, it'll never be like real bread, when people say "it's so good!", we all know we're coping. But, it is the best of the available keto breads. No aftertaste, texture is correct, flavor matches well. The price is a bit high, but you can use subscriptions and direct purchases to get it down to like $11/loaf. But, personally, the price is less important than the knowledge that I'm not playing "carb budget" or "cheat day" games with myself, and no matter when i have this, I'm not going to be screwing with my health.

Heroic, indeed!
If carbs were Thanos, this bread is Ironman! I'm so thankful that some heroic genius has unlocked the magic of carb free bread that finally tastes and toasts and cooks like it's evil carb loaded twin. Losing bread was one of the most difficult challenges of the low carb life, so this is a welcome game changer. Remember grabbing a soft fluffy slice of fresh, delicious white bread right from the Wonderbread bag? You can again, with no carbs. Sandwiches? You bet! Fresh made or grilled cheese, both are like eating "real" bread. No weird, oddly textured crumbly keto-ness either -- this has the texture and flavor of carbs, with no carbs! Toast with butter and carb free jam? Yes please! You'd nearly never know it is free of the carbs. I suspect keto French toast is entirely possible with this absolutely delicious new bread miracle. Price is insane, naturally, because it's healthy, and it's so sad that affordable food is deadly, but hey, that's 'Merica! But, it's worth it to avoid the diseases of the traditional 'Merican diet, so I'll pony up the dough for this outstanding bread. My highest recommendation! If you're on low carb, this is a huge help for maintaining the lifestyle without sacrificing the flavor, or favorite foods. Five stars all day, despite the high price!

Taste and texture are worth the try!
Really great tasting, low calorie, low carb, gluten free bread. Toasted isn't as tasty as not toasted but nice taste and texture for sandwiches.

TRULY DIABETIC FRIENDLY and DELICIOUS!
I am THRILLED to FINALLY have a product that does NOT send my blood sugar in to an absolute frenzy! As a Type 2 diabetic I've come to see that almost all supposed sugar free, low carb products contain Maltodextrin (or some form of it) that sends me instantly into dangerously high numbers. All advertised to be "Sugar Free", "Diabetic Friendly" etc... and they are the furthest thing from it. However, HERO BREAD IS AMAZING! I haven't tried it by itself because I don't really eat bread alone.. but I made French Toast and a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich not only were they delicious... both times my blood sugars perfectly in range! Looks like bread, tastes like bread and I couldn't be happier!

Ok bread, very expensive
I bought the Hero Classic White bread mostly driven by the 0g (or low) net carbs claim. I am not sure how the calculation is done, I suspect the fiber amount might be subtracted from the carb number? However, I am diabetic, and I monitor my sugar levels with a Libre 2 sensor. Given that the sugar profile impact may vary from individual to individual, the impact (on me) of a simple Hero sandwich with diet fruit jelly (0g of sugar, 3g carbs) is unfortunately comparable with other high fiber, low carb/sugar bread types that are ~1/2 of the price. Do not get me wrong. Hero bread is a reasonable product, and a fine tasting bread. I simply have an issue with cost versus net impact on my sugar levels. If it was cheaper, I would consider it on a weekly basis. I might even go the extra mile to pay the cost if it could deliver substantially better impact on my sugar profile. Unfortunately, I can have the same effect with nearly 1/2 the price with handpicked low carb, low sugar, high fiber supermarket brands. One more point. The Hero white bread comes with a sodium amount of 180g per slice. A regular sandwich (2 slices) comes at 360g of sodium with bread alone. Not bad in general terms, but for high blood pressure individuals, moderation is key.

Incorrect per specifications.
The bread is fantastic but in the specifications it says 2 pack but only delivers 1. Hero only sells them two packs so these are very deceiving. It costs the same for one loaf as Hero charges for two.

Finally a bread with cleaner ingredients that’s also low carb
I literally just brought this inside and had to post a review after having tried the bread. To note: I’m a born and raised European w a big love for (real) bread. Previously I have tried Lewis’ keto products that were okay ish but didn’t last long. Then a couple weeks ago I gave Brownberry’s a try but I was disappointed to see the ingredients so I stopped. 3 days ago I wondered onto amazon and was looking to see if anyone has come up with any new low carb options and is then that I found Hero. First off I already had a good sense about it based on what I saw on pics. Reviews passed as well and I’m extremely happy after having tried it. The bread is very soft. No weird taste. Tastes very similar to the bread I grew up eating. No foul smell or taste like other breads. No sweetness either thank god. I was pretty bummed having to cut out my sourdough bread until I hit my goal weight so you can imagine how happy I am to have found Hero bread. Will be ordering regularly and trying out the rest of the breads. 12/10 recommend. Have literally nothing bad to say about it and I’m super picky.
