As expected

I bought this to upgrade from my RC-3 and have been really happy with it. It's got a really cool mode where I can feed drums out one outlet and my guitar out the other, which sounds killer through my sound system. The patterns are way more natural sounding than I expected too, not "programmed" sounding at all. Guitar amps aren't made to play drums, but Boss included a mode to make them sound good even through a guitar amp. Anyone who says they don't sound good through their amp probably weren't using the right mode. I also really dig the fills that come between the drum sections, it makes things flow really well and is fun to jam with. As to ease of use, the workflow is different than other loopers, but once you get it it is really easy. The concept is to start with a drum groove and build from there, which is much more natural, particularly if you are new to loopers. I use it in a solo gig but also to teach with, because it is really fun to get students jamming along and making learning fun is a good way to keep students. Boss did it again.

This thing is cool, takes a little to get familiar but its hours of fun, it helps you get better and is a great tool for creating.

It's a very good loop station with more features than I will likely ever use. The drum samples are pretty solid, and the controls are few and simple. Getting used to starting and stopping a loop without gaps was a bit of a challenge, and getting use to the overall programming of the unit took some doing. Sometimes less buttons means more complicated operation, but the looper itself is very self explanatory for regular use.

This pedal is the BOMB! I read reviews and most of the negative ones were damaged product, packaging, or inability or no patience to take the time to learn how to use it properly (no offense to those who didn’t want to learn how to use it,) I had the boss rc-1, and it was nice but didn’t have the great features of the rc-10r! I really like the range of selections, the ability to create 2 distinct tracks in one bank, the abilities to edit almost every parameter on it, and way it helps my playing! I am not a recording, or touring musician, so I don’t have to worry about the sound quality being perfect, which I have no complaints about, or other issues some have proposed in the comments. I also believe it is a great deal for the price! If you are looking for a pedal to expand your abilities, and to open a new world of possibilities, this is a great one! If I had one 10 years ago I may be gigging professionally! Thank you boss for a great product!

As we know BOSS makes nothing but the best. They have a wide range of loopers, but I got this version because of the extensive drum patterns that come with it. I’d even say the more expensive looper has less drum patterns… As usual, you have the unmatched build quality from BOSS, 192-bit sound quality. It’s super versatile for making not only loops but you can create full fledged songs on this thing, as you can switch between 2 versions of patterns in each pass (for instance if you wanted to a verse and a chorus with a different loop on each part, and switch between them with the press of the button.) It’s simple to use and the quality you expect from the one and only OG BOSS.

I use the rhythm station as the backbone to my solo act. I connected a volume pedal which helps me control a fade in and out to my song sets. I can't get the double clicking to work well with me, and that's when I added the volume pedal. I programed the different beats I use, and now my it's an integral part of my solo act. The looping section, I don't use so much. As I said, I can't seem to get the timing on a double click.

良いところは、やはり多機能な点。 悪いというか扱いにくいのも、その多機能さゆえでしょうか。 また、各種パラメータをpdf の形でダウンロードしなければならず、そこも、少し面倒くさく思いました。 しかしながら、その課題点をプレイヤー側の練習で克服すると、とんでもなく便利で、楽しいツールになります。わたしはステレオ出力でPAに接続していますが、各種リズムキットの音の良いこと！ ルーパーとドラムをシンクロさせて。パターン1~2、トラック1~2 と使いアコギ、エレアコで「ホテルカリフォルニア」を弾き語りしてます。

Absolutely brilliant! Wish I had bought one a long time ago... Do not be put off by suggestions that it is difficult to use - it is not. The additional functions available over lesser loopers will take a little longer to learn, but you will be using it like a pro in no time! For the functions that it offers it is great value for money. It comes with its own (excellent) power supply. The built in rhythm is a standout feature of this looper. Each track that you produce has two rhythm parts available in addition to fill ins, intro's and outro's. You can also combine two (or more) track(s) together by using an additional foot switch (not supplied) to get even more rhythm variety. Sound quality is excellent. Build quality is excellent. Highly recommended -You won't be disappointed if you go for it!

I recommend this for solo gig and practice in real-time composition, drum loops are fantastic!

リズムとの同期で使った時に良さが理解できます 2パターンの録音と切り替えもタイミングよく ちょっと感動しました 以前もルーパー持っていましたが 踏むタイミングがシビアで 使いこなせなったが 今回購入して ルーパーはこれと思いました。
