I bought this to use in my cat's water bowl. She won't drink out of the cat fountains I bought her, only her bowl. This filter works perfectly for my application. It's absolutely silent and produces a steady stream. The water intake is on the bottom, with no screen or sponge. I'd imagine if you use this in something like a turtle tank, the impeller would eventually get blocked by debris. 10/10 for me.

It worked perfectly for about a week and then died out of nowhere

We were rehabbing a tiny baby turtle. This filter worked great, added water movement in the tank as it should. Can't go wrong for the price. Pretty quiet.

bottom does not stick good to tank and falls forward. Besides that if for a small tank works pretty good. Quite filter and good water flow.

This works well, is a good price and was super easy to set up and have in our baby river cooter turtles tank that only has 2 inches of water. It took around 5 minutes or fully start up but it cleaned the whole tank and helps maintain it clean!

I gave 5 stars because the issues I have with it had more to do with me than the actual product. I didn't read the size dimensions close enough. They were serious when they said mini. I got the medium and it was about the size of a deck of cards. Definitely ended up not being big enough for what I needed, but that was my bad. Worked well for what it was.

Too small, does not work as a description. Always i find it floating. Wasted of money
