For your upscale S’more needs…
I have a bunch of kids & we camp a lot. I’ve made more than my fair share of S’mores in my day, having used everything from sticks to proper marshmallow skewers. But these take the cake! These are more sturdy & elegant than anything I’ve ever used in my life. They look great & are super sturdy. Even after using them for a while, I had no issues with them getting too hot. They’re far more sturdy than other designs.I do, however, have a couple of issues. First, when finished, it’s difficult to store them. I’m often using these in a camping environment and am not able to thoroughly clean them immediately. When I disconnect the two pieces, I get burned marshmallow remains further up the handle. Ones that telescope down don’t spread the mess quite as much, but also don’t look nearly as cool.Another downside is that the tines are so far apart that you can’t get both on one marshmallow. If not cooking two (and even sometimes then) it may take a more skilled hand to keep the marshmallow from falling into the fiery abyss. But it’s perfect for all variety of dogs.If not for the cleaning issue, I’d have given these 5 stars. These are the coolest marshmallow skewers I’ve ever owned!

Handy skewers for home fire pit smores
We got a fire pit recently and the kids decided it would be fun to make smores over it. We picked up these RAOMEIDE 32" Heavy Duty Marshmallow Roasting Sticks to give it a try. The set comes with two sticks, and they assemble easily by just snapping the head and the handle together. Once snapped, it's a little challenging to get them apart again, so I'm thinking I may try to store them in the assembled position. The handle is nice and long so you don't get your hand too close to the flame, the ends have a plastic coating, and the pointy tips on the head are not too sharp (and come with protective covers), perfect for marshmallows. The metal is pretty sturdy, and as long as you don't try to skewer anything heavier than a marshmallow, it seems strong enough to do the job. If the idea of making smores at home with your own fire pit sounds like fun, these RAOMEIDE 32" Heavy Duty Marshmallow Roasting Sticks are a great choice.

High quality stainless hotdog forks
Held a magnet to these forks and it didn't stick at all, i.e. low iron content, so rusting should not be an issue. Push button assembly. The push button is not stainless, so it will begin to rust over time. Used them for cooking hot dogs in a camp fire and they worked great. A little thicker covering for a handle would be nice, and it really should cover the end completely would be better. Only thing missing would be a nice travel/storage case when disassembled.

S'mores are on the menu
They breakdown into 2 pieces and have the prong covers (that usually end up lost after the 1st couple uses). Most of these are about the same no matter what seller you get them from. The price seems a bit steep for what you are getting. When they are put together there's a slight gap in the settings so the pieces move a little bit, nothing major that would affect the roasting of marshmallows or hotdogs but just kind of annoying. They're easy to clean even after the mallows get caked on from multiple roastings. Overall they do the job just seem a bit flimsy for what you pay. With all that said my kids didn't have one complaint about them and were happy to not have to find a perfect stick and sharpen it before use...so spoiled these days lol.

Sturdy
These BBQ sticks/forks come in two sections and can be joined together by clicking in. The welding and shearing work seems a bit rough as you can see on the attached photos of the fork end and joints. However the material is very thick and strong so it feels very sturdy. I will update it it proves otherwise after a few uses.

good heavy duty product
These come in two pieces, with a button to depress to join the parts together. Conveniently, by pushing the button in and pushing the parts together, you can shorten the length for easier storage, although it is a little more difficult to depress the button than it should be.As heavy duty, these are much more useful than the run of the mill toasting forks you pick up at hardware stores. Utility would be improved by an end cap at the bottom of the roasting sticks, and the end caps for the pointy end are destined to get lost pretty quickly.

Heavy, Heavy Duty
These really are heavy duty. They are also heavy, so they might not be the perfect skewers for kids. The sticks each come in two pieces that you click together. Detaching them is a bit difficult to do as the pin that holds them in place is very small. There is no storage bag included, so we are storing them in the box they came in (just a plain brown shipping box) until we figure out a better way to store them. Since they are so large, they aren't great for taking during camping trips (I would recommend a retractable set for that).

Just alright
They are sturdy roasting sticks and come apart in 2 pieces for each stick. I am not a huge fan of push buttons because it honestly didn't come together smoothly. There are some defects with the metal that make it difficult to put together. But overall it does the job to roast over the campfire. I think I prefer wooden sticks over these metal ones just for convenience.

So-so
It's sturdy enough to hold 6 hot dogs, just what we wanted. But the finish is far from perfect. It certainly doesn't feel like a well-designed product. Just tinkered together in somebody's garage.
