Great Aloe Gel in Convenient Pump
Always been a fan of this brand of aloe-vera gel, but this is the first time I've ever tried it in this pump form.First of all, the gel itself is high-quality. No artificial green dyes or unnecessary additives. Very clear. Very pure. The pump is also well-made. Doesn't take much effort to unlock it, nor does it require much force to get the right amount to come out. One thing to keep in mind is that aloe gel tends to congeal after a while, so sometimes the hole where the gel comes out gets a bit plugged up, causing the gel to go in two different directions when you push down on the pump. Just remember to occasionally pick the rubbery gel off of the top of the pump, and you should be good to go.

Awesome
This stuff is so good and it’s actually aloe. Healed my pretty bad sunburnt back!

Aloe Vera
Decided to go with the pump version this time. This product works well on my skin. No strong scent which is perfect for me. Goes on easy, not to sticky and absorbs well into my skin.

Very good, but think twice if you have sensitive skin...
Overall, I think that this is an excellent product with lots of uses -- see a couple of caveats below.I've purchased and used 8 - 10 bottles over the past 2 years or so. Mostly, I apply it all over my face and neck after shaving in the morning and am pleased with the slightly tightening and softening effect from the aloe on my 45+ year old skin. I also use it, occasionally, as a hair gel -- it provides SOME body/hold for my short hair, but it is not a substitute for the holding power of normal hair gel. Also, I've found this effective in minimizing itches from minor irritations like mosquito bites. Of course, it's fantastic for sunburn. The caveats: (1) when applying it to the body (arms, legs, hands, etc.), it can have a little bit of a sticky feel; not a big deal for me, but one of my daughters dislikes it for this reason, and (2) others have commented about "burning" their skin. One of the bottles I've used had a slightly irritating (kind of burning feel) effect on my skin that none of the bottles before or since has had. I can only speculate that, since the product had not reached its expiration date, perhaps Lily of the Desert's quality control slipped up on this one and, maybe, the pH of that particular product was a little off -- I can't say for sure. But, this experience does make me wonder if consumers whose natural pH is slightly different than mine might regularly have problems(?). The only way to know for sure is to try it yourself, but most reviewers seem to have had very good experiences with the aloe, as I have. Bottom line: if you know that you have sensitive skin, then this might not be the product for you. Otherwise, I highly recommend it for many different uses.

No other compares
This is the only aloe I will buy. I've tried others and none feel like pure aloe. I use this on my skin after using hair removal creams and it quickly soothes any irritation.

Great Sunburn Relief
I love this product! It has a great smell and feel to it. It's very moisturizing and light. It leaves my skin feeling smooth after thoroughly rubbing it in.
