What I loved is that it came in a short 16 inch bar. I didn’t want a humongous bar just something to hold while I was walking on my treadmill or at least to be ready to hold if need be. I have a very compact treadmill only 22 inches wide and sometimes when I’m watching videos, walking through the park, my body tends to wanna move a little too far so in order to stay in a straight line, and to remain safe, this was the perfect solution! It was super easy to install. I am very arthritic and 63 years old but with my trustee drill and my drillbit, I was able to install it within five minutes walking on the treadmill now I know that I have a grab bar and I’m gonna be safe. The price was very good too and it looks nice.

I gave purchased two of these handrails in different sizes. Incredibly fast to put up. The two in the pictures took me about five minutes each. One is for the steps going in the front door and the other is going up two steps from the garage into the kitchen. They are very sturdy, of excellent quality, and the wood is silky smooth. All my stairs now have these bars, but if I had more stairs, I wouldn't hesitate to buy these again. I will recommend them to family and friends.

Bought the 16” for my elderly parents. They had a single step in their house and needed something for a little support. This is a nice piece. Used the anchors and screws that came with it. No complaints!
