Some of the stuff is a bit average but it's a good place to start.

I received this as a gift as I am just starting to work with leather. The set is fantastic and comes with everything needed to get started with leatherworking. Some of the included tools are just as high quality as tools you can buy from other major leather brands. If you are looking for a set of tools that comes with everything you need to try out leatherworking, this is the set to get. One suggestion if you do purchase this however is to make sure to sharpen the tools such as the bevelers before and after each use. If you sharpen your tools, they will make your projects look much more professional, and you will enjoy working with the leather much more and be less frustrated.This set will also help you to understand what tools you may want to upgrade to higher quality tools before others depending on what you use most frequently.

I've gotten into leatherwork recently and bought this kit to cover the bases. It's got almost everything you could need for starting out without being crazy expensive. If you're trying out leatherwork as a new hobby, this is a great option. (You can always get nicer, more expensive tools later if needed.)These are not high-end, super sturdy tools, but they're not useless cheap cr*p either. I've been able to make wallets, bags, and falconry equipment like jesses and hoods with these with no issues.The only negatives I have about this kit are: The zippered case that everything comes in is nice, but it doesn't really fit all of the tools well. Every time I close it, carry it somewhere, and open it again, tools have fallen out of their slots and it's a bit of a mess. It does work ok though, and could always be repurposed for other art supplies like pencils, brushes, etc... A few of the tools are super cheap - like a pair of scissors that doesn't work well for leather at all.Overall, if you're starting out, this is a fantastic option without breaking the bank.

It is just what was looking for, as a gift !

When you first get things are sharp but after the first couple of cuts it’s time to change blades pricking irons are ok for about 2 uses then won’t go through the leather I even thinned out the piece and it barely went through. Not worth what they are charging for it. Has a lot of tools yes but most of them are useless due to quality of the tools themselves
