Always different each issue!
This quarterly publication is my favorite read. The articles are great and this issue had a mini issue of a special called guts. It was inside of an envelope that is a photo of the abdomen of a guy who had been stitched up. You tear out the wound area and it opens the envelope and it is a little magazine about a special chef conference called "Guts". Who thinks up this crazy stuff? I love it because I am always surprised.

thoughtful, and inspiring
Got this as a gift for my sous chef boyfriend, he loves David Chang and completely geeked out of this issue. I read it also and really enjoyed it, it's inspiring, it has awesome art and interesting articles. I need to get more asap.

Lucky Peach = Brain Candy
This is one great journal. I loved it enough to subscribe. If you love great food and great & thoughtful writing about food then this is a journal for you too. I read this thing cover to cover and learned some really important tips to tweak my own cooking experience(s).

Always interesting
Always interesting. Love the cartoon on the cover. Articles and interviews of how chefs got started, kept going and what they would do differently, if anything, if they could do it all again.

It just gets better!
This magazine, one which I couldn't imagine surviving, continues to thrive and amaze. It's a literate read from cover to cover with new takes on so many foodie subjects and food personalities.

Love the magazine, hate the shipping
First off, this is more of a piece of advice if you are going to get this magazine. Order it one at a time, and with no other magazines. When you do that, Amazon shrink wrap packs the magazine against a cardboard backer that maintains the "magazine rack" perfect quality. I made the mistake of ordering the 8,9 issues together,and they both arrived bashed to hell with scuffs and mini tears all over.

Great stories from and about interesting individuals and there creativity. Recipes have proven to be tested to perfection. Great magazine like no other.

Wonderful unique essays, great graphics, lots to read and great for professional and amateur chefs. I love this creative magazine, it never disappoints.
