Gold Lion 12AX7 / ECC83, Matched Trio

Very natural and detailed sound. But swapping them out with cheap chinese tubes doesn't reveal a lot of difference in my around $2k setup.

These went into an EAR 834P tube phono stage. They were replacing 14 year old NOS Brimar CV4004s and we’ll, there’s nothing like those.

The media could not be loaded.  Upgraded these 12ax7 with gold Lion genalex 6v6 duet. This amp never sounded so good. I’ve never loved this amp so much. Egnator should offer these tubes as an upgrade.

Very quiet even in 70db gain phonostage.
