This paint holder is a great idea and exactly what I wanted, except it doesn't hold larger brushes well. Larger brush handles pop out from between the wire holders and its very annoying.

You are done painting. You begin cleaning, perhaps you grabbed all of your brushes in your hand and brought them to the sink to give them a propper scrubbing.Then you come back, grab your towels, grab this "Portable Artist Brush Washer."Perhaps you pick it up from the top.Oh look, you have dirty paint water all over your workspace floor.Let's just call it accidental art and go to bed.Seriously, the top part of this **portable** brush washer comes off. If you are not careful how you pick it up -- ie, from the bottom, like it itself is a delicate piece of art -- then the bottom will fall out from under you while carrying it. If there's water in there, well then....

Using to hang brushes in turp for cleaning. Good find

I like the size and the idea. But I wish the top and bottom stayed together better

where you would push the brush against the "cleaning part" on the bottom there is the pick up bar that gets in way, the brush holder looks like it would work but in reality does not work with smaller (modeling) brushes, put 1 in fine, put the next in and it stretches the coil and the 1st brush falls out so they need to be put in at the same time....not very handy

The coiled spring holder does not hold brushes.

I have purchased 2 similar items from Michael's and they both broke apart. The bottom of the removable piece has a mesh on it (from Michaels). It comes off SO EASILY and the mesh can poke into your fingers. It's so annoying and I've cut myself several times.With this version, there is no cheapness to it. There's nothing that can break off and start stabbing your fingers. It's quite durable and does the job of cleaning your brushes. Highly recommended.

How practical..I love that it's not too deep ..you don't get the whole brush wet..Handy holder to dry or to not let soak your brushes .Overall I recommend this.My brushes are holding well.Thanks to all the people who answered my question too.

Fait le travail mais je dois couper les tiges car mes pinceaux ne sont pas assez long, je dois surélevé mes pots de diluant.Does the job but I have to cut the stems because my brushes are not long enough, I have to raise my pots of diluent.
