Gets boring pretty quick
Kids weren’t super into this game while on a road trip. I was on the fence when deciding to purchase this but I didn’t see many other options for games in the car. I should have just skipped on purchasing this. It’s a game you can just make up on your own.

Screen Time Reducer
Shotgun Jr. is a simple concept. Each card shows a picture and description of an object, and the first person to find that object wins the card. The first person to 10 cards wins. Most cards describe things you see outside the car, but some, like headphones and backpacks, will mostly see inside.Although we often let our younger children watch movies during long road trips, we try to break up screen time with physical activities. Some of our favorite games are the "alphabet game" and "I Spy." If you have played the latter, then Shotgun Jr. will feel familiar. The cards (and pictures) are big enough that children sitting in different rows should be able to participate. With 74 cards included, there are plenty of ideas to outlast the kids' attention spans.I disagree with most other reviewers about the card quality. They feel flimsy to me. Time will tell how they hold up. That said, for $10, this game should keep the younger ones entertained long enough for a decent break from the electronics. That's worth quite a bit, in my estimation.

Can’t wait for our next road trip!
The media could not be loaded. Road trips can be challenging with little ones. Kids love them but need to be entertained and sometimes, especially on really long trips, it’s hard to come up with new ideas to keep them busy. This game is going to help solve that problem. With pictures and words, all the kids can take turns “reading” the cards while they try to find the object. I like that the items on the cards are things you’ll find both in the car and outside of it. Road signs, animals, blankets, books and clouds are just a few of the I spy items. The cards are nice and will last for many road trips to come. Clever game that promises to make the time fly. The kids will be excited for our next road trip!

Fun car game
This seems like a great thing to have in the car if you have kids. It's always a struggle to entertain them in the road if you don't want to resort to screens. Yeah, you can probably play this game without having to buy anything, but it does just make it easier and will likely draw kids in more than trying to get them to play a parent's made up game. Having the big pictures means my 4yr old can play too without needing to read. The cards are nice and big and feel sturdy. The instructions say to compete to see who can collect cards by finding the item, but competition doesn't always end well. I think there are plenty of individual and cooperative ways to use these cards, like picking one card and having everyone look for the same thing.

Fun for all ages and passes time quickly on the road
We love fun games like these that help the kids pass time instead of being on screens to long on drives. We used them on a two-day road trip and we all had fun including both adults. I did notice that my kiddo that gets car sick did really well because these kept his eyes up and looking out the windows and reduced his motion sickness! Double win for us all.

Could be fun?
This is one of those items I ordered with excellent intention... but never ended up using. Maybe it's because it's too broad and some of the items seem pretty strange to look for on a road trip. You're probably not gonna see a butterfly or a blanket on the road. Maybe I'm wrong!

Great for car rides-both long and short
We love this game for car rides. It is a good way to engage with each other and be aware of our surroundings. For short car rides we choose like 5 cards and see if we can find them all before we get home.
