Front Cam is a snap to install - literally
2022 Lexus GX460-I've had dashcams over the years and this is by far the easiest to install. Snap off the bezel trim on the window, plug in the power connector/jumper, download the app, and fire it up.-The video for the front cam install is very good.- The quality of the videos from both the Front and Rear cameras very goodIssues:1- I have found the app/wifi connection to interfere with Android Auto/Waze trying to find destinations and I've had to turn off WiFi when using AA.2- Their is no video for the install of the rear camera on the GX. You're on your own. This is not an issue until you reach the rear door and it would help to show the best way to remove some of the panels so you don't break the retention tabs.3- The rear camera mount can not adjust to mount on the glass, the adhesive tape does not work on the vinyl and I used the screws in the upper vinyl trim. A different 3M type probably would have worked.However I find these issues very minor and easy to overcome

Great product and quality, this is my 3d purchase since I have them installed on my 4 Runner and my daughter’s Rav4

Overrated.
While the packaging looks decent and the parts appear more oem than others - up close they’re not. The plastic is very brittle and doesn’t cover the same area as the original plastic. The camera quality is only okay and I doubt true 4k (doesn’t come close to being able to read license plates). I have the Lexus oem dashcam in my other vehicle and while more expensive, it’s superior in every single way!

I ordered the unit with the front and rear camera. it took me 6 1/2 hours to install. I also installed the optional wiring harness into the fuse box. couldn’t be more happy with this dash cam front and rear.

Worked great for exactly one year
The kit for the Lexus GX 460 model year 2021 fit very well and looked like it was an OEM product. My issue is that it worked for exactly one year or a little less. My GX started having issues with the front collision sensor/camera recently. I took the vehicle to my Lexus service center and they found that the FITCAMX dash cam was causing errors constantly which caused the collision prevention system to shut down. As soon as the FITCAMX dash cam was disconnected, all errors stopped and the system went back to normal. My guess is that due to the wiring harness tapping into the cabling, this caused any failure with the FITCAMX dash cam to spread to other systems in the vehicle.The FITCAMX dash cam looked great and worked well for one year and then it tried to take other systems in the vehicle with it as it failed.I cannot recommend this product unless you are willing to purchase a new one every 12 months.
