It's difficult for me to get up off the floor (arthritis), yet, household tasks must be completed. I purchased this stool to be able to scrub the tile grout all over my house! I could not be happier. It's low enough to work on the floor, high enough to get up, and with the locking wheels, safe to get up without it sliding out from under me. I was also able to use it for weeding out ground level flowerbeds. I know it's probably a garage thing, but I find it indispensable. Solid, fair price, and it arrived in one day. Also a bonus, the side compartments and small pull out drawer hold cleaning necessities. I am a happy camper!

Acquired this beauty as I'm a DIYr. I'd rather get it done my way, the right way, than wait on someone or potentially allow someone to screw me where I must place a blame.So, I got this as I love gettin' it in on my car work. I just put this chair together and I am delighted I pulled the trigger on the purchase, and I'm glad I didn't settle for anything less. It works. The wheels glide like a dogg! I am happy. Instructions are written very poor and because of this takes longer to assemble than it should. Seems durable enough, but haven’t had Long enough to know real durability. Note when assembling leave the top four seat screws out, put in the drawers and holders and then screw the top seat into position. Makes it much easier to assemble.

Nice seat for the price.

The seat holder listed in step #2 does not fit into the “drawer holder.” If it did fit, there is no provision for it to be locked into position. I spent twenty minutes on step #2, and then asked my son to give it a try. Same failure to fit.If the seat holder did fit, the “drawer” (AKA bin) just sits on top — no slides. Load it with tools or materials and enjoy dumping the contents of the drawer when “opening” the drawer. Crap!While it could be assembler error (regarding the assembly), I’ve rebuilt two internal combustion engines, replaces transmissions, clutches, differentials, as well as completed my own brake jobs, oil changes, diesel fuel filter changes, etc …Just in case it’s me, I asked my son to attempt step #2 — he couldn’t make it fit. He’s been building computers and assembling module furniture for two years, so it’s probably poor design and manufacturing (plastic).Looks cool in the Amazon add — right! Well, I hope you have better luck getting one together. I recommend you look elsewhere.

The base of this thing is great, it rolls well, it’s good quality and it’s comfortable. I took off a star because the side pockets arrived slightly warped and they fall off (dumping tools everywhere) if I bump into anything or try to carry it.

The stool works well but the instructions are horrible. It does not show where to put some bolts and skips an entire section of assembly.
