Great, cat loves it!
Amazing, my cat loves it and I love that it’s sleek and fits so nicely on the wall. I love that it’s fully on the wall, I’m thinking about getting another for a different room. Versatile, I was able to adjust height for what I needed. My cat loves to launch off of it onto the couch and scratch it. He gets a great view out of the window. Was easy to set up, is very sturdy. Would recommend having an extra set of hands if fully mounting to the wall like I did, cause it was a little heavy and a little difficult to do by myself, but totally possible!

a solid cat tower kit PERFECT for customization
update12/2024: just wanted to say that the one we built last year is holding up extremely well to our cat's zoomies. the only thing we needed to add was some sisal padding to make the shelves nonstick. but I love it so much that I bought 2 more kits. a really good value and very, very quality materials. If you don't own any tools or want to do any customizing of your cat tower, or have nooo DIY experience, this is not the one for you. however, if you, like me, have some building skills and don't mind doing a little painting.... this is a very nice kit at an amazing value. the shelves are high-quality, thick plywood (5/8" or 3/4"), sanded and ready for paint/stain. the tower assembles easily with hardly any tools, and it's well-made and surprisingly sturdy. the instructions are sparse, but it's not too hard to figure out. I wanted my tower to go all the way to the ceiling, and it doesn't (it reaches about 6 or 7ft?), so I ordered a second one. You do definitely have to screw it into the wall, or make a wider base. but it seems like it should be very sturdy once it's complete. I'm happy with it.

With some adaptations this works for even hefty cats
My two cats are about 12 lb and 15-16 lb respectively, and very active. They are neither kittens, which seem (frustratingly) to be the models in most cat furniture photos and videos, nor petite cats. We have not had much luck with even the sturdiest cat towers in the past which wobble -or worse, tip over - when the cats jump on or launch off them. So we instead installed actual wall shelves, with brackets, for them to lounge and perch on. We purchased this cat tree as a way to access those shelves. The price was great and the parts were of good quality, easy to assemble and anchor to the wall. When we had set up the entire cat tree, the cats took to it quickly, jumping directly from the ground to the second platform. They also loved scratching the posts. However, we found very quickly that the platforms demonstrated some "give" when the cats jumped onto them or launched off them to higher platforms. In addition, the platforms themselves rotated in the reverse direction from the jump in spite of tightening the screws. This seemed to be more a flaw in the design of such trees rather than the quality of this particular one: the force of a cat's jump concentrated on the edge of a platform anchored only by a screw in the center of its narrowest corner. So we made some modifications, including 1. adding a topmost platform that attached to the wall anchor; 2. removing the bottommost platform and replacing it with a differently-shaped one that wedged into the space; 3. anchoring that bottommost platform to the wall to prevent rotation; 4. adding a vertical support to the second platform, both to take the force of the cats landing, as well as preventing its rotation when they launched off it; 5: adhering pieces of carpet to the surfaces of the platforms and vertical support, for grip and scratching surface, respectively. We noticed that the cats use the whole system a lot more confidently now that it feels stable and sturdy. If you purchase this cat tree, which is one of the more aesthetically-pleasing wall-mounted posts out there, not to mention priced very affordably, and you also happen to have cats which are on the less-petite side, bear in mind that you might have to be creative with additional anchors and supports. It helps to mount it with the platforms braced against a wall (or cabinet); if they extend freely out as our second platform did, they would benefit from some vertical support against the floor, for instance.

Cats love it, bit hard to install
I have experience drilling, but mounting this on the wall was a little difficult due to the holes being too small to push a pen through to make the marks on the wall. Instructions were a bit vague. Luckily I was able to find a pen that fit after taking the ink cartridge apart. My plan B was to use the tape method to mount stuff on the wall. I placed the whole tower on a step stool for support while I made the marks on the top first. I installed the top screws then took the bottom step back off (held by one screw underneath) to be able to drill the bottom holes on the wall. Then lastly I screwed it back into place and installed the bottom screws on the wall. The steps are wood and the column pieces I believe are plastic wrapped in rope. My package didn't come with a hole for the hanging rope, but I didn't mind. The 2 pads that come with this have a non-slip texture underneath but I dont think it's very effective as they still move around if I push them. With the weight of my cats I think they'll end up sliding off. Overall this is very sturdy and my cats immediately loved it. I wanted a tower that didnt take up much space and didnt have carpet. This was a great affordable option for my cats to be able to look out the window! I wasn't able to mount it closer to the window due to 2 outlets on the wall but it's still close enough for them to look outside and have some fun climbing up and down.

Only one of my two cats uses it…
It’s fallen off the wall twice because the screws detach from the tower, they’re too short. We’ve just let it sit on the floor now. Only one of my cats uses it to climb to her hammock, the other one hates it lol. It’s also a lot smaller than I thought it’d be.

Great cat tree!
The media could not be loaded. I was looking for cat trees without the crazy price tag, and this one was super affordable. it fits perfectly on the wall I planned to install it on, and so far it’s held up pretty well. The material is just wood and better than I thought it would be. It isn’t super heavy, and I was totally able to install it by myself (I did use the box it came in to raise it up a bit while I screwed it in - it was the perfect height so it wasn’t on the floor.) It’s relatively easy to clean, I have two medium hair cats so it definitely gets fluffy pretty quickly, but a lint roller does the job. No safety concerns except for the rope - but as long as you tie it on both ends your cat probably won’t chew it.
