Review: A wonderful child’s bedroom novelty. - First Impressions and Product Information. Product description states it is boxed twice with the inner box being suitable as a gift. This is not the case as it was just the outer box. Nothing major but worth noting. On first impressions the lamp looks great. It is sturdy and well made for the price with only the branding on the front letting it down visually. It is powered by a standard mains plug but does not have an off switch. The dial at the front is used to increase/decrease the flow of the bubbles, however the bubble volume indicator is rather small to read with it not quite working as labelled and so requires some playing around with. The RGB lighting is wonderful and cycles through various colours every 7 seconds but there is no option to leave it on a solid colour. There is a slight humming coming from the motor which is to be expected but isn’t loud enough to be off putting. Performance. Product description states there are instructions but none are included with the lamp. How to use it or set up information has been provided from user experience. Various reviews have said to use distilled water which I purchased from Halfords for around £4. The bottles are 5L with the lamp requiring around 4.5L. Tap water may be suitable but for this review hasn’t been tested. The fish provided are known to float due to trapped air when in use with suggestions to soak in the water for 8 hours or washing detergent until they descend. I placed the fish in the tube with bubbles set to max without any pre soaking/cleaning and within 25 minutes the fish were floating up and down (see video). When turned off the fish then float to the top until turned back in again. Verdict. After leaving it running for 1 hour there have been no changes with the fish floating to the top. The noise of the motor hasn’t increased and there have been no water leakages. Purchased for a one year old who I’m sure will love it. Highly recommended
Review: Good value for money - My baby girl loves this lamp and really enjoys watching the bubbles and changing lights. The lamp itself is not as sturdy as I believed it would be and definitely needs a bracket to attach to the wall for stability as it can be easily tipped over however The lamp itself works great and the adjustable bubbles allow you to make them fast or slow easily. The fish do not seem to work at all and do not go up and down as I expected they just seem to sit at the top but this has not stopped my baby’s enjoyment. For the price this is a very good product as others out there can be over twice as expected for the same quality. The lamp looks inviting and interesting and works great in both baby’s bedroom or the living room.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Delightfully Colourful Mood Lamp for a Happy Grandson!
*by A***E on 20 October 2023*

I recently purchased the Straame 90cm Colour Changing LED Light Bubble Fish Mood Lamp in blue, and it has proven to be a resounding success in our home, especially with my grandson. This charming lamp not only brightens up our space but also creates a soothing and mesmerising atmosphere that's perfect for relaxation. The first thing that captured my attention was the delightful and realistic artificial tropical fishes. They gracefully swim about in the lamp, crafting a captivating underwater world right in our living room. The vibrant colours of the fishes are exceptionally eye-catching, and their lifelike movements add a touch of wonder to the room. My grandson, who holds a deep fascination with all things aquatic, has truly taken to this lamp. He can spend hours watching the colourful fishes as they navigate the bubble-filled tank with grace and beauty. It's not merely a lamp; it's a source of endless fascination and joy for him. This unique combination of a visual spectacle and a calming mood light has become an integral part of his bedtime routine. The lamp's colour-changing feature adds an extra layer of charm. It effortlessly transitions through a spectrum of colours, casting a soft and gentle glow that transforms the ambiance of the room. It's a genuine sensory experience, perfect for unwinding after a long day or creating a tranquil atmosphere in any space. Please bear in mind that the lamp automatically cycles through the colours and cannot be set to a specific hue. One thing to be aware of is that the artificial fishes may take a little time to settle after installation. Initially, they might move about a bit more than expected, but once they find their rhythm, it becomes a truly tranquil and captivating experience. The quality of the Straame Mood Lamp is excellent, and it's evident that it's built to last. The lamp is easy to set up, and its low-maintenance design is a bonus for busy parents and grandparents. The blue colour of the lamp, in particular, evokes a tranquil and serene feeling, making it a beautiful addition to any room. In summary, the Straame 90cm Colour Changing LED Light Bubble Fish Mood Lamp is a delightful addition to our home. It's wonderfully colourful, mesmerising, and provides a sensory experience that both children and adults can appreciate. My grandson loves it, and it has quickly become a cherished part of our daily routine. If you're looking to add a touch of magic to your space, I highly recommend this beautiful lamp. It's not just a lamp; it's a source of joy and wonder for the whole family!
