I bought this e;ectric blanket in March 2023. I used it for a few weeks and I put it away for the summer. I got it out a few days ago and it worked OK and then suddenly it is dead. I can't return it to the online retailer (Amazon, in this case) for a replacement or repair as their website doesn't allow it.The Consumer Rights Act 2015 requires any products you buy must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described.The rules also include digital content like downloaded films, games or apps. So all products, whether physical, electrical, digital or even a car, must meet the following standards:Satisfactory quality Goods: shouldn't be faulty or damaged when you receive them. UPDATE ! Thanks to the great customer service I have received a replacement and couldn’t be happier with the service I received after raising the issueBought this product and has been great but recently the remote has been gettin excessively hot and now has started to melt I have seen other reviews with this issue as we have had this product for just under a year we are now left with an unusable product and no way to contact the seller

Saw the great Martin Lewis recommending heated blankets to help reduce your energy bills so bought this when I got out of hospital after surgery on my badly broken ankle as I was feeling the temperature drop between the warmth of the hospital and home!OMG! First of all it’s a great size! It covers my whole body and is so cozy even without it being switched on!! When you do need the extra warmth there are 6 different heat settings. It heats FAST and it holds the heat forever so once you start feeling warm you just switch it off and enjoy staying toasty warm!!As an added bonus the cats and dog love laying on my knee when I’m in the recliner as they feel the heat too! LolI’m a bit worried about how to wash it (and it does need washed since the animals keep lying on me every time I use it!!). It does say it can be washed on delicates but I think it might be tricky to dry. The power cable unplugs for easy removal for cleaning though. I just can’t bear to be parted with it atm! Lol

My dad was always saying he was cold, so i bought him this and he is so happy with it. It gives him that little heat boost in a focused and comfortable way. Great quality and warms up fast.
