These are mini ice packs in a sheet. There is a porous membrane material side and a plastic side that make up a pouch filled with insta-snow powder. Once activated with water, the snow fluffs up into a gel that once frozen will retain the cold. My daughter ran it under the tap for 45 seconds and squished the inside around to throughly mix the powder and get a good reconstitution. We then blot dry and put it into the freezer overnight. I like the functionality of being able to break them apart into little pieces to put in various container sizes. In this case, we used it for a picnic so I kept the full sheet. During the hike, kids got hot so they took pieces of this and each one had a nice cooling ice pack, and because of the soft membrane side, they were able to put it on their skin with feeling cold burns. At the end of the day, this is put back into the freezer for next time. It seemed study as the pack didn’t burst open or leak, even with the kid’s tossing them around and playing with them. The ice in the picnic basket stayed frozen for a few hours, and then was able to still maintain cooled temperatures for up to 6hours in total (as a whole unit), the pieces the kids took apart to play with only lasted 1.5hours before it was no longer cold. Good value for the number of sheets you get. Worth it for everyday use for lunch bags, boo boo packs, quick cool off, fevers, etc.

Best EVER. They stay cold for over 24 hours. I put them inside a corkcicle cup, put my medication in there. Travel to my destination across country and still frozen and my medication is still cold as directed.

I love the size. You can use a full sheet or just a few. It took 6 hours to freeze them stacked and half that time not stacked.

They lost me when I tried to read the instructions which say to "put water under sink for 2 minutes". I'm not sure why I'd want water under my sink, but it goes on to say: "make sure not to stack mesh sides Together...". Note to seller: please have someone who speaks English write the owners manual for you. Thx.

These are the 'coolest' ice packs I think I've ever seen! Beyond impressed with their quality. They’re made of durable, leak-proof material that holds up well.They're pretty fun to prepare, too. They arrive flat in a nice little envelope with instructions. Run them under water for a couple minutes per the instructions (it took more like 30 seconds) and voila! They puff right up. Just set them on a paper towel to soak up excess water before placing in the freezer.One of the best features is that you can tear them apart to create the exact size you need. No scissors needed, they're perforated very well and are easy to pull apart. Whether you need a larger pack or a smaller one, it’s super convenient. Ours are being used for shipping, so can't speak on the durability quite yet. They do fit nicely in the freezer. They are one-sided mesh which is great because they don't stick.Overall very impressed and highly recommend! You did great, Luna. Thank you!

It did not feel like this met expectations.The packets we received were really tiny, smaller than expected, so that 12 of them still was a very small amount of ice and cold. That was the first problem.But the bigger thing was that these are supposed to be reusable so I assumed once I was done using them that they were just flattened out to put back into the package again for later and easy storage, but they don’t do that. You just have to store them in your freezer forever now taking out space, plus three or four of our 12 clearly had leaks and were slimy and smaller than the others after just one use.The main thing was to get one big cooler of frozen goods home on a 600 mile drive and they did the job for that, but I’m not sure they will be used again which is disappointing.

Sad to see poor reviews on a great product because people do not know how to read or follow directions.I followed the directions and these came out perfect. They were slightly smaller than expected, but work very well. So far they have held their retention and re-freeze well.If you’re a dog person, the added note from Luna will brighten your day.
