Works great for EV charger
Love how it looks, the easy installation and easy to read layout. Have it set up on my Tesla charger and the readings are extremely accurate.Have seen other reviews where it wasn’t reading 240v but have determined that is due to improper installation. Mine is reading accurate voltage and current.Only negatives are the placement of the temperature connection and non standard size. The temp sensor is on the bottom at the very front that prevents installation prior to mounting the meter. It just makes it a little tricky to plug in but not a big deal.I installed the meter using a 4”x4” surface mount junction box set 9” above charger. This allowed for the sensor to be contained in the box and temp probe reaches the charger.I custom designed and printed a box cover/faceplate to mount the meter and make for a really clean display. A printed 7mm mounting spacer for the junction box placed the box exactly in line with the charger.I am very happy with the end result. Feel free to look me up if you’d like your own custom faceplate mount.

Great Power Meter for Generator Hook-up
I have a pretty decent sized generator for running my house when we loose power (it has happened 3 times in the last month alone :( ). I have a 50 amp power hook-up in my garage that backfeeds my breaker panel through a generator breaker with the main breaker interlock. I thought my generator had a power meter on it to see how loaded it is, but it didn't. Being in the boonies, we have no gas service of any kind so everything is electric in the house. With the 50 amps, we can run anything, but can't run it all at once, so we need to stage certain things on. I made a little power meter panel with these so that I can tell how much we are pulling to see if I need to turn stuff off to run other stuff. These work great so far. They seem pretty accurate and were pretty easy to install. As other reviews have said, it would be nicer if the current sensor wires were a little longer. Wasn't a big deal for this project since I was able to make it into some terminal blocks and then ran from there with a longer wire, but I can what a pain for a couple cents worth of additional wire. The only other complaint I had was that a cutting template or at least some dimensions would have been nice for making the panel opening. I had to wing it and did ok, but still wound up with a small gap on one side of the screens. The screen rim is pretty small so you can't be more than 2 mm off with the hole size.

Easy as pie to hook it up to a 220V well pump
Initially I asked a question about the resolution of the timer. I got all different answers. But I found a video and discovered that it ticks every minute. So if it says 13T, then it has been running for 13 minutes. I followed another reviewer and hooked up each of the hot legs of the 220v circuit to the N and L leads. And I put the magnet around both leads. Worked perfectly. You have to look at the unit directly on or it will not be be very bright. I also extended the magnet lead lines by about 12 inches and twisted the two wires together. I got the same amp reading with either the original lead or the extended lead lines.Highly recommend.

Cheap but works decently well, espeically for the price
Most reviews already summed up everything pretty well. It's a good price and is reasonably accurate, but not perfect. This won't catch anything that requires down to the single digit accuracy for volts/amps/watts, but for keeping track of power used to charge my EV and finding any gross problems with my 240V outlet, this will work just fine. A few things to note:1) The wire for the current transformer is ridiculously short... each lead is less than 6 inches long and extremely thin, like 20 or 22AWG. You will without much of a doubt need to extend it. I soldered on some 16AWG stranded AC wire, the kind you'd find on a typical house lamp, to extend it another 12 inches to reach between the outlet I want to measure and the place I wanted to mount the meter.2) It does not come with wire used to connect the voltage measuring terminals. I again used the same 16AWG stranded AC wire for this purpose. Though the wire was meant for a 120V outlet and I'm using it on a 240V outlet, I figure the current going through it will be minimal and it will be fine.3) As you can see from the pictures, I mounted it in a 2 gang workbox. The plate I mounted it on was actually a blank 2 gang plate in which I cut a rectangular hole. This was a perfect fit.It took me a couple hours to cut the hole in the drywall and connect everything up, but it was all very straightforward. As for accuracy, while my EV adapter is actively charging the car at its maximum of 32A at 240V, the readings are quite accurate. However, when the adapter is idle, the power readings seem correct, but the voltage and current don't add up to the power reading. Also, when I have nothing plugged into the outlet at all, there is still a 90mA current draw and a 0.7W power draw according to the meter. One last thing, and I think this was also mentioned, if you are more than about 30 degrees off axis vertically, the display gets hard to read, so you may want to mount it close to eye level.I was tempted to give it 5 stars, but the inaccuracy at lower current/power draw, plus the really short wire for the current transformer, made me give it 4 stars instead. Also I hope it lasts a long time, but at this price, I won't mind getting a replacement once every couple years or so.

Well built, works great, looks great, accurate
Very well built and accurate energy meter, that is really accurate. Super easy to install and hook up. Provides excellent information to keep track of energy and performance of the power consumption. The temperature probe is a great addition. Either mount onto a surface for the surface temperature, or leave loose for ambient temperature.

Great for measuring power draw and kWh usage for 240V equipment
I got this for measuring the power draw and kWh usage for my car charger and it works great. It is about the size of a 1 gang switch and was fairly easily adaptable to a 4 inch square electrical box in this case. The display fits nicely behind a 1 gang Decora style wall plate opening and you can easily access the reset button.
