The WK20S is the perfect under water light
Just shy of six inches long and six ounces, the WK20S is powered by one 18650 battery and last almost two hours on turbo mode. It has a SST40 led that has a cct range around 5000k with an intensity of about 19000 cd. The body is made of aluminum and a very thick lense with a smooth light cup. It also has a very satisfying magnetic button and a simple to use UI that sports four light modes and remembers the last mode after being turned off. I'll be honest, I really enjoyed diving with this light. I've had other dive lights before but this one takes the cake. It's simple to use and lasts for a long time in the water. On land, it's a great mid thrower and the SST40 5000K casts a great light that is very pleasing to the eye. I'm partial to warmer looking lights and this is perfect. The hotspot is centered perfectly and allows for a great amount of spill. When first turned on, I was surprised by the sheer output of power from this little light and I was happy it had a few different modes. I kept mine on either medium or high while underwater because turbo lit up the entire lagoon we were in! I wish I could post underwater pictures but my GoPro stopped being waterproof. I was surprised how long the WK20S held a charge. I was out for hours and didn't have to change the battery once. It's surprising sturdy as well. I was dumb and decided not to wear the lanyard it comes with and dropped it a few times and it stayed on and the glass didn't crack at all. Overall, I highly recommend this light. It feels good in the hand and is very pleasing to use. Wurkkos has made another great quality light and will continue to have my business.

a waterproof edc flashlight that is actually bright and heavy duty.
Great boat, camping, water light that is bright. If you are looking for an actual waterproof compact flashlight, this is it. i think i will be taking this on all my camping/paddling adventures, maybe even to mexico for scuba diving/snorkeling. Pros: easily fits in your pocket for carrying around. Super heavy duty thick aluminum casing will last a lifetime. Rubber gaskets all around to seal out water. I like that it has double gaskets on the battery tube to seal out water(usually only 1 gasket on a water resistant light, this is a water proof light!). Cool magnetic switch cycles through light modes; hold to turn off. Double springs in battery tube (better for impact and fitting different length batteries. physical lockout by unscrewing cap ever so slightly (you will want to do this so it doesn't turn on by accident as the button is a bit exposed). Seperate battery charger included. Comes with Wurkkos 3000 mAh 18650, charger, spare gaskets, and a large thick paracord lanyard that is easy to grab in the water witha rubber wrist guard. Has a great throw distance and a very bright spill so it works great as a general flashlight. Cons: No usb charging due to the waterproof rating, comes with a seperate single battery charger though. (but you can do what i did and get a usb-c rechargeable 18650. to be able to charge with a usb-c cable directly without the battery charger) Its a bit heavy for water use, it will not float, so use a floaty if using on the water for regular boating. This would be good to keep on a boat, take canoeing, overlanding, kayaking. Anywhere you need a tough light that also needs to be waterproof. Use a caribiner to keep it attached to your boat, backpack, or water vest so it is handy.

Very bright, well built, and waterproof.
I own several Wurkkos lights and this one is well worth the money. Like all Wurkkos they are well built and you can feel it in the hand. It's the perfect size and it can get very bright. I tend to use it on the lower light settings so I can extend battery life. I didn't have an opportunity to dive with it but I did use it in the rain and it is water proof. The lanyard is huge, I assume to help it not sink if you lose it in the water. The batter charger is a separate unit, which makes sense because it's meant to be water proof - you do not want a charge port exposed to water. The sst40 led is very nice and I have bought a few lights with it. I would recommend this light for anyone needing a nice EDC light that can be submerged.

Love the light, not sure of the 2000 lumen rating
I was a little hesitant at first with this flashlight. I'm used to lights with push-buttons on the end of the handle, and with a more textured, tactical look to them. Over the last few weeks though, I've come to appreciate the single button on the side. I also LOVE this idea I got from Wurkkos: if you want to ensure there is no way the light can accidentally get turned on, give the end a slight twist. Not even a full or half twist; just barely a twist makes it so the light can't turn on (ie, our young kids don't play with it and run the battery out =). Then when I use it, a slight twist to the end and it's ready to go. One press of the side button turns on the light, and each press after that cycles between four levels of brightness. Long-press the button to turn off the light, and when you turn it back on again it remembers the brightness it was at when you last turned it off. I'm not sure about the 2000 lumen turbo setting. It's bright, but doesn't seem like 2000 lumens to me. Since the beam is not adjustable I do like that it has a bright narrow beam surrounded by a more diffused outside beam; so you get the benefits of both. Anytime I get something with an IPX rating I strive for the highest possible, even when unnecessary. In this case it's necessary because this light can go deeper than I've ever gone or ever will go, but it feels good that it's THAT waterproof. I don't think you can get higher than the IPX-8 of this flashlight. I like that as a dive light it's extra-durable, because we tease in my family about needing cases on everything due to how rough we are with them. So durability is a feature we appreciate. The battery is rechargeable, but instead of having a charging port on the flashlight it comes with an external charger. I appreciate that because this is a diving light, and no port makes one less way for the waterproofness to fail. It also gives me a way to charge some of my other batteries =) This light came with extra O-rings, a USB-C cable to plug into the external charger (or whatever other electronic I need it for =), and quite a unique lanyard. The size and thickness of the lanyard are better than any I've ever received for a flashlight or other lanyard-friendly device, but the unique part is the silicone sleeve on it. At first I thought it was bulky and awkward and unnecessary, but it makes it SO easy to slip your hand into! Even when not diving but just sitting at your desk (I always have a light sitting at the edge of my desk in case I want to illuminate something either under the desk or outside at night), when you hear something scurrying along the side of the house - with one movement you are slipping your right hand into the lanyard, standing up, and opening the window with the left hand to see that skunk before it disappears around the corner of the house. Hypothetically. I know from past experience that Wurkkos has great customer service. Before I got my first Wurkkos I had Streamlight, Thorfire, Coastal, Klarus, Maglite, and some others I can't remember off the top of my head. Wurkkos are the ones I keep at my desk now. They are solid, throw a great light, and have been such good deals for the money. Thank you for reading, I hope it was helpful.

A bright, solidly built waterproof flashlight
This flashlight is tremendously bright. If you're used to thinking in lumens, you already know exactly how bright 2000 lumens are. If not, imagine two-and-a-half typical household lightbulbs focused into a beam (the WK20S has a narrow spotlight surrounded by a wider "halo" of light for maximum visibility). Of course, there are also three lower settings that may be more suitable to everyday use - and if your point of reference is your grandad's incandescent Maglite, even the lowest 60-lumen setting is at least as powerful. The color temperature is a cool white 5000K. The operation of the light is slightly unconventional but well-suited to easily adjusting the brightness (press and release to cycle through brightness levels; press and hold to power off). The magnetic switch is easy to use and has a deep, smooth travel. The rest of the body has a smooth finish that makes it easy to handle. The flashlight includes a single-slot USB-C charger with a USB-C to USB-A cable, so recharging the light is easy even if you don't already have your own charger or other batteries (and if you do, the charger can handle several other common li-ion battery sizes as well.) A large, thick, rubber-lined lanyard is likely to keep the light firmly attached to your wrist (as opposed to e.g. lost in the ocean). My first package didn't include a lanyard, but Wurkkos customer service shipped out a replacement promptly, which is exactly what you'd hope for in that situation.

Fantastic purpose built light above or below the water
On Land: I ran this as an alternative to my everyday carry Wurkkos FC12 for a week to get an idea for how it would compare against my current favorite light and the wk20s did not disappoint. Underwater: I tested this with two pool sessions against my OrcaD580 If you're using this on land compare the two first pictures (this flashlight) vs the last more "flood" style throw of the FC12. One isn't inherently better or worse than the other, but it depends on what you're trying to do. The WK20s allows you to throw a little farther and focus the light and better target a specific area. For longer distances, I could make things out where the FC12 on max was beginning to fade. For crowded situations like walking into the woods at night, the FC12's less "cone" style of coverage might be preferred so as to light things up more evenly, but on max the WK20 is definitely brighter. Neither is "wrong" but for my last hike I appreciated the extra few meters of throw I got while exiting into a field. In the water, I just preferred the Wurkkos over the Orca. Both were head shoulders over any generic competition but the Wurkkos shape is much more conducive to being held and the toggle for the light vs a flat button is a welcome addition. The toggle is very smooth and easy to use while needing to go far enough in to avoid accidental depression. It's definitely larger than you'd want for an everyday pocket flashlight, but at that point it would be too small to be easily used underwater and you definitely want to have a good grip on something while swimming.

Would not recommend
Nice bright light but, not good design/ quality. The first use it was in my motorcycle saddle bag and when I reached for it I found the switch vibrated out. I found the pieces and put it back together. Next use, I was starting a cavern dive and it would not stay on.

Light malfunctioned
It got bright enough and worked at FIRST but after about 20 minutes of use in shallow 3-5 ft of water, it started to flicker. Not only did it scare the fish, it forced me to end a night snorkel that had only just started. I would think twice if you really need a light, splurge and get one that actually works well and you can rely on.

Great torch with no unnecessary features
I've used this just once on a snorkeling trip for about 1.5 hours in the water. Visibility was decent and brightness level 2 of 4 was the sweet spot for me. Meaning this torch is plenty bright enough! Dual selaed and spare o-rings which is nice to see. I did find the strap too long so I shortened it with some scissors and a lighter. To operate you press once for on and hold for off. Clicking while turned on cycles through the modes. I appreciate there's no SOS/strobe as that mode is always annoying (may update this comment if ever I find myself needing it).

Super bright dive torch
I am absolutely satisfied with the dive lamp. The workmanship makes a very good impression. The scope of delivery includes 1 pieces batteries, charger, O-ring, and lanyard. I bought the lamp on the recommendation of an acquaintance who has been using this lamp for a long time. torch output max 2000 lumen, bright but small, easy to carry and operation.
