YETI Rambler Bottle Chug Cap, Rescue Red/Navy

This is the best cap style I've used for my water bottle, hands down better than a straw style cap for actually drinking more throughout the day. It's quick to open, and the seal is tight and it doesn’t leak. My 64 oz Yeti originally came with this cap style from the store. It lasted about 2.5 years before the threads finally wore out and it started leaking, so I bought this replacement. It's been 6 months since, and it's holding up just as well as the original did in its prime. The seal is so tight, it takes a decent amount of grip strength to twist off. I don't have any trouble with it, but both my daughter and my girlfriend do struggle to get it open on their own. Not a flaw, it's doing its job as a tight, leak-proof seal but worth knowing if the bottle will be used by someone with less hand strength.

This is my second time purchasing this lid. I love it. The seal is strong for both the lid and the cap. I buy these because I dislike having the part of my bottle where I put my mouth freely open to the word and its germs. No thank you to straws just out in the open, or flip lids where the mouth piece is just one stray sneeze away from grossness. This can be knocked over and tossed around without me feeling needing to sanitize the mouth piece before I drink. My first lasted many years before it started to have water leak through the cap. I think at some point the little rubber seal at the top of the cap got damaged or lost from me washing. I've always hand washed to keep the item away from extreme heat of the dishwasher and because I have hard water and rubber/silicon gets spotty in there. I have never put this in the dishwasher so can't comment on that. Its very easy to clean by hand and I feel confident I can clean every part of it. No hard to reach places or nooks and crannies needing special tools. My only con is that sometimes it seals too well and is tough to twist off the lid. If that happens I remove the cap first to get a better grip, and then thanks to the rubber wrapped around the rim of the lid I can get a secure grip and twist it open. Or if its the cap that gets stuck and you find the two pieces twisting open together, you just need to hold the rim of the lid directly to secure it and twist the cap, rather than holding only the bottle and twisting the cap.

Perfect replacement for yeti rambler bottle. Broke my lid by dropping it and this works exactly the same as the old one. Keeps things cold and works as expected

I prefer this to the straw for the gym. Durable, odourless and leak period. Fits perfectly.

Bought this replacement on 8th April 2025 and is already broke on 1st Nov 2025. The tracks for where the lid screws in peel up.

Yeti es una magnífica marca, está tapa es de rosca muy rápida y cómoda. Materiales gruesos que ayudan a la botella a mantener la temperatura, mejor que las tapas con boquilla y pajita. Tener cuidado de no dejar mucho tiempo la segunda parte de la tapa sin desenroscar de la botella porque puede ser costoso abrirla si se adhiere. Cuidado también al portarla porque la rosca rápida que la hace cómoda también puede hacer que la botella se desenrosque si la cuelgas por el asa mucho rato en movimiento y sin controlar los giros. En definitiva, buen diseño y de los que mejor ayudan a la botella a mantener la temperatura.
