More travel than stock
I put these on my GX470 with a bunch of brass parts. They are a little fiddly to install and tune but I managed to set them up at stock ride height with more droop. Exactly what I wanted. The springs installed in the package were the medium stiffness. Those raised the height and I had trouble on steep terrain. Put the light ones in and managed to maintain a good height for approach angle and steep terrain. Still a little tippy. Installed some brass wheels and this truck is crazy capable now. Lightest weight oil I had was 30 and I used that. My heavy truck seems to work well with that weight oil. I filled them a little more than half. Going by what others said my truck would sit at the bottom of travel unless switching to the heavier springs that gave me too much lift. 3/4 full 30wt, lightest springs and some preload works great!

Very good shocks with one problem.
I have two complaints about these shocks. The one real issue is that they bind if they have sat still for a bit. This is not a big deal, work them once or twice before hitting the trail or the crawling course and there will be no further binding issues until they have sat for another ten or fifteen minutes again. In short, just a minor annoyance. The other was more of a quality control issue. Two of my shocks came with broken O-rings under the fill caps. There were spares of the O rings that go on the brass links, and they stretched enough to use them as replacements. These shocks are a huge improvement over the original SCX24 friction shocks in every way. All of the jiggly bouncing seen with the original shocks that causes so many roll overs will be banished. They are about 7mm longer than the stock shocks overall, and have about 2mm more travel, so they will change the stance of your SCX24 on the stock shock mounts. If you pair these with the Injora Flex blade mounts, you will preserve more of that original stance while greatly improving the SCX24's crawling capabilities.I put the softest springs on and used 25 weight shock oil to fill them. The technique that worked for me was to compress the shock, put in the drop of oil to fill the space, let the shock relax, drawing the oil down, recompress, add another drop, and repeat until I saw just the tiniest bit of oil pooling over the top of the piston when it was compressed. The improvements in suspension travel and flex without drastically altering the look of the SCX24 can be seen in the attached pictures. The tool case is only an inch and a half thick, and the stock suspension couldn't keep both rear wheels planted. These shocks have no issue handling that on their own; the flex blades are not even engaged on the rear driver side wheel or front passenger side wheel in the other picture.

Binding yes but can be fixed
These shocksare great but you have to do a little bit of work to get them working right without any binding, I took off the bottom cap and saw there was a couple of o-rings in them and removed 1 of them and no more binding and they work like they should, I see a lot of these other shocks recommending 20wt shock oil but for me I use 50wt in front and 40wt in rear and this combination works for my style of driving

These are NOT a direct fit on the FMS Power Wagon.
I give these 1 star because they are advertised as working with an FMS FCX24 and they are not a direct fit. Some serious modifications need to be done due to the fitment of the factory shocks on the FMS series. Can't return them since the package is now opened

Axial SCX24 and FMS FCX24 Upgrade
I recently upgraded my Axial SCX24 and FMS FCX24 with the INJORA 39mm aluminum threaded shocks, and I’m impressed with the performance. Here are some key points:Build Quality: The shocks are machined from aluminum, giving them a sturdy and durable feel. The threaded bodies make pre-load adjustments quick and easy. Huge upgrade over stock SCX24 shocks.Performance: These shocks use oil dampening instead of friction, which provides a smoother and more consistent rebound. The inclusion of bladder seals helps maintain this consistency. Depending on the install location/angle you may have to do some adjustments to get them to work properly. The shocks are about 3mm longer than stock but I would still consider them more of short travel shock which helps reduce body roll and stability. If you are looking for more articulation and travel go with a longer set.Customization: The package includes three different spring rates, allowing for fine-tuning to match your specific chassis setup. Plus, the variety of colors available lets you match them to your RC crawler car.Value: At $20.99, these shocks offer great value for the quality and performance they deliver.Cons: You do have to assemble the shock mount. These parts are very small and can be very frustrating if you do not have the experience. I would suggest looking up videos to make the install easier.Overall, the INJORA 39mm shocks are a fantastic upgrade for any 1/24 RC crawler enthusiast looking to enhance their vehicle’s performance and appearance.
