Suture kit for Students, Veterinarians, Research and Training

These instruments are not the quality you will find in the OR, but the whole kit is 1/10th the price of a single OR instrument, so it's a good deal for someone who just wants to learn to suture. That being said, I recommend buying a quality needle driver elsewhere, as this one was just didn't hold the needle very securely. Again, it is fine for learning, but if you are a professional who is training to use your skills in the OR or in the field, invest in a $15 needle driver that actually holds the needle securely.

A very good basic kit. Decent quality, good finish. I just wish it had also come with a pair of suture scissors. After all, if you learn to put them in, you should know the tools to take them out!

Really neat suture kit with a hood workable hemastat and scissors, might recommend more than one suture, possibly in another size, other than that, outstanding.

The tools were great. Very sturdy and well made. The suture which came with the kit is terrible. Extremely thick catgut which tears what you are trying to suture rather than securing it. Excellent kit everything from mosquito forceps to nice heavy bandage scissors, even comes with self absorbing suture and needle. Great for my bug out bag.
