High Protein Ratio at Great Cost
I have tried so many different pea protein products over the years, and am very well versed with non-flavored powders. This one is just as good as anything else I’ve tried that have one ingredient listed (yellow peas). I am really happy to see that the value of this item is far better than anything else being sold, so all else being equal, this is a smart choiceNote the sodium content is a little high, but I haven’t noticed a flavor difference. Highly recommend.

Worth a try
I have been using this product for about a week now and I am happy that it is unflavored and does not have an overpowering taste or smell. I tried it was a vanilla almond milk and it was fine just using a blender bottle. I believe to get it really smooth an electric blender would be better. I also think you could add it to a smoothie without changing the taste but add enough water as it makes stuff thicken. For the price it isn't bad and I use a BCAA supplement as I have read that the levels of BCAA is lower than for whey. It is very low in fat and zero cholesterol so worth the try. I also have none of the adverse effects that I have seen with milk based or even soy based types of protein powder.

Surpresses my appetite with no added calories
This is my first time buying a pea protein powder. I bought it to make my own protein bars. That’s yet to perfect. As far as this powder I do use it with almond milk and 1 pack of stevia to make an appetite surpressing shake and it works well for me.It mixes easy and does not taste bad and I’m not doing anything fancy as I don’t want added calories. If you are looking for more flavor then you can add that just keep in mind that for me less is more so I keep it simple.

It may be healthy but tastes horrid
I am very sensitive to protein powders so I always look for pea protein. This looked promising due to the size and cost. I neglected to pay attention to the unflavored description. It tastes awful. Even with almond butter, cocoa powder, and honey, the smoothies were barely tolerable. I ended up giving it to a friend who claims to be able to eat anything regardless of taste if he knows it’s healthy. Even he is struggling to choke it down. Perhaps it would be better if it had a flavor.

Near impossible to dissolve, disgusting sediment
I originally bought this product due to its protein to overall mass ratio (80%) and because it had exceptional price value for a 5 lb bag of protein. I had been using protein and isolate powders of many kinds (whey, soy, meat-based, etc) for over a decade now and I thought I would share my experiences with this particular one. To be clear, I could not care any less about the fact that it is "plant based", "GMO-free" or "organic": I buy protein for the protein contained therein and not the labelling on the package.Immediately, I found this powder to be extremely hard to dissolve in virtually any liquid at any temperature, compared to most other proteins I have used in the past. This includes water based beverages like freshly brewed tea, dairy beverages such as hot chocolate and mixtures such as fresh coffee+dairy milk.As with any protein, it helps to first bind the protein to granulated sugar in a 100% dry container with a vibrating table. The mixture should be 1:1 by volume for even dispersion. However, this only helps very little in the case of this powder even when the liquid is brought to near boiling (98-99°C).While the small amount of protein that does dissolve IS nearly tasteless, the large amount of sediment in the resulting suspension definitely isn't and is quite nauseating in large quantities. Consider an example of this in the included picture (coffee), noting the large layer of settled sediment on the bottom and the particulates stuck to the side of the glass bottle. In conclusion, if you're one of "those" that require an animal-free diet and will stomach almost anything, you might get away with this powder. Ethically, I personally see no difference between cultivating plants for harvest and raising animals for slaughter, but viewpoints tend to vary these days. However, if you find yourself free of such "dietary obligations", I would suggest you look elsewhere for your supplemental protein.

Great product! A magnificent body building supplement!
This is a great product and it has the most value for money available in any offer. It’s completely vegan it is well packaged with no plastic containers, just one resealable bag, which in the end means less trash. It tastes a lot like Pea, But that is what it is made from. It has no artificial flavor, or no artificial anything. I highly recommend this product.

I find its best to use in my blender
I ordered 4 bags of this and received all 4 bags in one big box on time and without damage. This stuff is adequately priced and comparable to other protein supplements out there. I bought this because I'm vegan and wanted to increase my protein intake because I exercise 5-6 times a week. FYI, this stuff is completely bland, and kind of gritty or thick if you try and blend it using a blender bottle and the little shaker ball. I find its best to use in my blender.

Best bang for your buck for any pea protein out ...
Best bang for your buck for any pea protein out there. I mix it into my blended smoothies every day, and it serves its purpose; to provide me with a quality protein source. For everyone saying this "doesn't taste good," or "it isn't sweet enough," you're missing the point. Also, a tip for helping to mix this into your shakes well - add a neutral-tasting oil (like algae oil) to help dissolve the fat-soluble proteins.
