Much Better Than Expected = Exceeded Expectation !
Jehiatek 51” Pantry Cupboard -White & Gold. Made In China, Flatpack - my level of expectation was not high given the pricepoint of this item, however the size and design was ideal for my need so I took the chance. Delivery was very fast from ordering and item arrived before delivery date and was very well packed and no damage. Assembly was very straightforward and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the components and parts (eg - large headed steel screws for the back panel rather than the normal pin nails as used in ikea type flatpacks). The locking cams and screws etc are all good quality as was the unit parts. The finish lacquer of the unit is also very good. My only criticism is that there is a gap of about 6mm between the doors when closed, but that’s not a big deal - the hinges are non adjustable and pre-drilled placement. The design and storage options really do make this like a mini tardis = it holds a lot of stuff and accessibility is excellent instead of rummaging around for things. This item is easily on par with popular self assembly products. I don’t usually buy ‘Chinese Junk’ , but on this occasion I am very pleased and impressed with the product.

Fantastic little cupboard.
Firstly forgive the items in the cupboard but I hope they show it off enough. So where to begin. I'm seeing a lot of low star reviews claiming its smaller than expected yet the product description clearly shows all the dimensions. I measured up the area I wanted it to go before I bought i bought it.The box is a two man lift although I did manage to walk it up four flights of stairs to my second floor flat, however I could have.opened up the box and took smaller loads up the stairs. Now I'm not a professional worker person but I do know one end of a screwdriver from another. I also make partwork models so I'm not in the bottom 25% of all people who make things. It's a flat pack, or as I prefer to say, adult airfix.I found the instructions simple to follow, it says put part number whatever there part number whatever there. The fixings are all labelled so when it says, for example, fix part a to part b with a screw g it's easy. However I would recommend laying all your parts out before you start so you arent hunting for things later on. Comes with an Allen key but yiu need your own Phillips screwdriver.I started assembling thus Sunday night after a long trip, got the main bit done then had enough and went to bed. Assembled one door the next morning then had a break assembled the other door and attached them. If I had worked non stop I'd estimate 4 to 5 hours but as i said I'm no professional. It's a nice size. The main cupboard is about as deep as a normal wall cabinet and the doors are about a quarter the depth. As you can see the doors can hold spice jars two deep and the main cupboard can hold a dinner plate.Bad bits. One door doesn't sit exactly right,.it's a little skew. For the price I paid I'm not complaining as it functions fine without catching and the magnet holds the door closed fine. If this was a £400 unit from Dunelm I'd be onto customer services for a replacement. But for about a £100 I'll live with it.One other thing and this is a tiny negative. Each shelf on the door has a little support going across. Two of the shelves are adjustable but the support isn't, so on the top door shelf my spices are supported in the middle of the jar but on the second shelf they are.supported.much lower. Not a major issue but ashthetically not pleasing.I went with the gold option as at the time of buying there was a money off voucher which made it cheaper than the white or brown and as it happens I'm glad I did as I loventhe legs and it gives my cat not so secret hiding hole.If you looking for a cupboard to give a little extra storage look no further. If you are looking for a cupboard to store heavy items and such forth look for something designed to do that job.Thinking of buying the brown one in the future to go in the dining room to store dinner items such as plates, condiments, cutlery etc.

Great Cupboard
The media could not be loaded. Absolutely brilliant cupboard! Took two of us about 3 hours to build and one of the doors are slightly out on one side, but it’s only millimetres and I’m not 100% it’s not the way the OH built it, but just look how great it is for storage! I had food stored in the kitchen and in the boxes in the spare room. This cupboard has taken care of the lot! I couldn’t be happier! I love the order as I can’t stand clutter. It’s so sturdy too.

Pretty decent for the money. Building instruction need work.
When put together (which takes forever!) this is a pretty decent, sturdy little storage cupboard. I was a little worried that the doors might not be able to take too much weight, but they seem to be quite sturdy, even after filling them up with all sorts of stuff.Do be aware that fitting this unit together will take quite a while as there are a lot of parts. I like the fact that you get spares of almost every fixing included, which was handy as I accidentally broke one of them.My main gripe with this unit is the instructions need to be a little more clear with reference to the orientation of the parts; After building both doors I realised that I had screwed all the internal shelves upside down. Having to dismantle them and rebuild the doors added about 1/2 hour to the build and 1/2 pint of sweat to my shirt! So in short, this is a decent storage cupboard, but make sure you double-check your orientations before fitting.

Very good
Really pleased with it. My grandson no longer needs a toy box so that has gone and this has become the games cupboard. The side shelves are perfect for holding small balls.I am a 78 year old, 5 foot lady but had no difficulty putting this together on my own except for the doors which I did not attempt (I might have done 20 years ago!). The instructions were clear and there were more than enough screws etc. Yes, it wasn't a 5 minute job and I did do it in 2 stages - aching buttocks, thighs and knees needed a rest! The only thing I will be getting is some tape to seal the gap between the two back boards, it is very tiny but I can see it. Ikea give you a tape to go between this sort of thing. However, all in all I would say it is good value and I am very pleased with it.ps. I might have done it in one go had Evri not managed to ring my doorbell and left it outside. It is very heavy - marked 28kg - and I was exhausted getting it over the front step!
