Bought this for my son, he’s a chef by trade and he absolutely loves the way it sits perfectly in his hand. It’s very versatile to use and cuts perfectly from thin slices of tomato to tender slices of beef..Obviously this is a sharp knife so care must be taken when using it..

It's a lovely occasional knife, best used for cutting meats or coarse cutting root vegetables. The broad blade means you aren't looking to pick this up when you need to julienne carrots or make a brunoise.The blade weight definitely means you'll make short work of dishes that require coarse prep or mashing. The flat spine is particularly good at softening lemongrass.The fine tip needs a little extra thought to control if you want to use it to bone a chicken or lamb leg. Not entirely sure if the finger choil helps here but you can hold it closer the tip with the choil so the added balance is probably useful.I sharpen and hone it with a HORL. Yeah, it's a bit of a cheat but it gives a beautifully consistent hone and the blade edge feels great.

This knife is a great size for general meal preparation for cutting meat and veg and arrived very sharp. Beware opening the quality sheath as your thumb is very close to the sharp blade as you un-pop the fastener. The knife handle is wood and good quality and both the knife and blade benefit from a little oil after use and washing but endure it is edible oil. The knife is quite wide across the blade and has some weight and a slight convex edge so is very good for chopping herbs but less good for cutting fine slices and the blade is so wide. I use this as my go to knife in the kitchen and am very pleased with it so far.

I use this knife to prepare every meal chopping vegs and meat.First of all, I like how the shape design that makes me feel I'm a professional chef in the kitchen. Yet, it's not just a smart design also has a very sharp blade so I'm always aware when I chop some ingredients. Plus, the knife has good quality too so I don't need to worry about maintaining just wash it under running water.I'd definitely recommend it, it's great to have one good quality knife in the kitchen. Although a little bit out of my budget but it’s worth to have a comfortable, easy to hold and sharp knife in the kitchen.

normally I struggle to cut a chicken in half, this knife went threw it as if it was butter. I recommend it and would most definitely buy again.

The media could not be loaded. A review I read said that this knife was more suited to chunkier slices as the blade is a bit thick. But I’ve not found that the case. Paper thin cucumber easily done. Love the shape of the knife for easy holding. Sharp, good quality & with sharpening, this will last a long time
