This book is a helpful study aide guiding me through the in's and out's of critical care as i progress though my orientation. This book is extremely helpful for re- introducing information that you may not have seen sence nursing school. Its written in a clear and easy to read format that isnt too dry, its great for those who have trouble staying awake through a text book.

this book was beyond great! It is helping me pass my Critical Care Nursing course. I havent even open my original assigned textbook. this book has explained everything I needed to learn about Critical Care nursing!

I'm an RN student, currently in my last semester of school. This is a great book in that it really helps to break down the disease processes in easy to understand format. The last semester of nursing school is stressful enough and this has managed to help make it a little less stressful!

This Book was Co-written by my Nursing School Classmate, who was a great friend of mine. She has recently passed away in Feb, 2022. Was looking forward to seeing her @ our 60th Nursing School Reunion in 2022. The Book will be memorable.

I am a nurse working in a intensive care unit, but I don't have a degree in intesive care nursing. So my intention with this book was to give me quick guidance in caring for these patients without having to read the realy heavy textbooks wich contain over 1000 pages.So far the book is not more than ok. The language in the book is quite easy to understand and explains som difficult things quite easy. There is however several things in the book which gives it me the impretion that they did not bother to read it twice to look for errors before printing it.For ex. the table showing the analysis of the arterial blood gasses is wrong. Everything is opposite of how it should be. Several places the same sentence is repeated as much as 5 times before the text moves on. That is some of the things I have found in the book so far and I have just finished the first chapter. I had also hoped to get more of anatomy and fysiology than the book contains.

Super informative and very useful. Good buy.

This has practice questions that I need for my tests in critical care nursing. I will see if it helps me on this next test. My Critical Care class, there are no practice questions in the book and the teacher doesn't go over the rationales behind points highlighted in the lectures.

This book used as a supplement to my current text book is perfect. I made a great grade on my first critical care exam. I love this series.

Great info for critical care nurses, that gets to the important stuff without a bunch of wordy run on sentences. Great reference

The book is beautifully presented. The big problem for me is that it uses american terminology and nursing related to America. As a British nurse it made for an extremely complicated read. I have had to send it back. I you are an american nurse however I'm sure this book would be perfect.
