Purchased to display my wife’s Grandmother’s dishes. Originally was worried about the dishes falling, however they are very sturdy!

fell off the wall damaging an irreplaceable plate
Held great for many months, followed the installation instructions to a T. Don't recommend if you live in the northeast, southeast, midwest, northwest, or anywhere that isn't a desert climate. My home state in the northeast is punishingly humid, but I understand England is too, so I see no excuse for why a hanger rated for many times the weight of the irreplaceable plate I hung on it, handmade by a local potter, would give out from the humidity. It's cracked and it's a miracle it didn't shatter after falling four feet into my cast iron sink. The rest of the hangers in the pack are going in the trash. If you live in Arizona, you'll probably be fine, but otherwise I don't recommend unless you're hanging something disposable and easily replaceable.

Best brand of plate hangers - worth the price for security
These are such a great reliable way to hang plates and other ceramic pieces for decor, gallery walls etc. I know that there are some cheaper brands out there but I’ve also had friends tell me of smashed items where the cheaper ones have come away from the back - whereas with this brand I know that I can trust them to securely hold my treasured items for decades! (..I’m looking at one right now that has been up for 11yrs using these discs) - happy to recommend wholeheartedly!
