Cheap but did the job
Solid quality replacement for our storm door. The matte black finish looks modern and it feels sturdy when opening and closing. Easy install with basic tools.

Screen door handle
Bought one prior to this and just bought this one as a backup. Works well, but not very high quality. The last one I had froze up in the winter, so will see how this one works. Good price, fast shipping.

Sturdy construction- complete hardware - good instructions
Well made item with all the hardware included for installation. More expensive than the other ones offered but worth the cost since the construction is all metals as opposed to plastic for the parts under the most stress.

Good
Easily installed. Recommend keeping the internal metal piece longer than it says- it helps it open more easily

Great customer service
Easy to follow instructions and easy to install. However, I dropped it during installation losing the spring. I called the company, told them I lost the spring. They still replaced it, NO charge! Now it’s installed and works great.

Get an Ironman to install it for you...
Okay, I wanted to love this product. I watched several YouTube videos about how to install it. I watched the videos from Wright Products themselves. They all tell you and show you that it's the easiest thing in the world to install this screen door handle. They show each step clearly and explain all the product parts clearly. It LOOKED easy enough, and I was excited about fixing up my old, battered screen door myself. I took it all apart, spray painted it with rust-proof paint in a nice dark gunmetal gray. I re-screened the door with new mesh and new spline. I was all ready to go with the new handle and latch, especially after being told by the Wright Products video and other YouTubers that it was a snap to assemble.Well...Everything about that is true, EXCEPT for one piece that is a complete and utter JOKE.There's a flat metal rod that is about three inches long that fits inside the handle and protrudes through one side of the door to the other. It's the mechanism that pushes the latch and allows the door to be opened. The issue is that this piece comes in only one size; depending on the thickness of your screen door, you have to size down the metal rod by snipping off the end. The rod has small lines, or notches, on it about two millimeters apart, and you measure the rod according to those lines. The instructions and videos all say "Just use a pair of pliers and snap off the end." That's it! Nothing to it!Well...um, no.That's not all there is to it.I used various combinations of five different types of heavy-duty pliers, including all the varieties of snipping-type pliers, and it was IMPOSSIBLE to break the end off this nasty little metal rod.My 30-year-old nephew broke two pairs of my pliers trying to do it for me, so that's why I went out and bought the set of five heavy-duty ones. I spent about twenty minutes wrangling with this thing, and IT WOULD NOT BREAK OFF. You have to be some kind of body-building Ironman to be able to snap the metal rod to the correct size. So, for now, my screen door is hanging in the doorway with no latch or handle. The next time my nephew is here, I'll have him give it another try.Seriously, how much more expensive would it be for you, Wright Products, to provide two or three rods of different lengths to accommodate the various thickness measurements of screen doors? I mean, you provide three different lengths of screws for the same reason. Why can't you just do the same thing for this annoying little metal rod? It's a tiny piece of metal. It can't possibly cost you so much more that it would be cost prohibitive! Go ahead and charge us an extra dollar or two or whatever and just include three or four of these rods in different lengths instead of making us actually forge one of the parts of your product ourselves!Anyway, Wright Products, you do NOT get top marks from me because of this really stupid flaw.
