happy to have found this package size
I've been using the Neilmed Sinus Rinse system for years and years. I have allergies and sinus issues and I don't like to take a lot of decongestants (I'm on blood pressure medication), but this product helps clear things out and doesn't affect the blood pressure. When I don't use it for a week or so, my nose gets all clogged and feels pretty gross (I recently had oral surgery with excessive bleeding afterwards, and I didn't use this during that time and for about a week after, so I've experienced this recently). After 2-3 days of using this in the morning, though, I am good to go again. I have recently gotten my husband into at least occasional use of the sinus rinse system, mostly after he has done yard work (where he is exposed to pollen) or has been sanding something in the basement (even though he also wears a mask). He doesn't have the same allergy problems I do, but he doesn't like to take a lot of medication and this works when he needs it to. I was definitely happy to find the two pack of bottles (this is not an item you want to share) without a ridiculous number of salt packets, because I already have a couple of open bags of refill packets in the kitchen, and I didn't want to accumulate more. Now my husband and I can each have new ones (we don't replace every 90 days as recommended, but maybe every 5 or 6 months). I only use the sinus rinse in the morning. I find that if I do it at night, and I do it too late, I have drainage down the back of my throat, and I can never remember to use it like an hour before bed (which would be fine). So mornings it is. I keep a big jug of distilled water in the kitchen exclusively for sinus rinsing. There are sometimes things in municipal water supplies that are fine to ingest orally but that you don't really want to shoot into your head up close to your brain. I microwave the water in the main body of the sinus rinse container for 30 seconds, add my salt packet, shake, and wait until the temperature is comfortable before rinsing. I would definitely not recommend doing this with cold water. Anyway, this is a convenient package size of a product I'm a longtime fan of. Definitely glad I found it.

Even using it for years
If you have bad breath, lots of drainage in throat and nasally you need to try this. I use distilled water from a jug because my doctor told me NOT To use tap water. I warm it up in the microwave for 20 seconds then I add the salt packet and I have medication. Just shake it up and lean over the sink. Squeeze 1/2 in each nare. Then I lean my head over the sink and tilt my head side to side to get the solution out. It stops the drainage from your throat and helps with that nasty taste and breathe you get form allergy drainage. Warming the water a bit and using the salt packets prevents burning in nares. And using regularly truly does help. Trust me. The bottle is good quality plastic it last forever I usually buy a new one every 6-8 months because of infections I get but if you are just using this for allergies and keep it clean turn it over after use to dry it will last along time. Great product!!

Cleans the sinuses
My husband and I use these useable bottles daily to clean out our sinuses. It really makes a difference with us breathing in the allergens in the air.

this is the one you need if you're mixing your own saline
Other kits have more packets that I don't really need. I use half salt, half baking soda, and that about 1/2 teaspoon of the mix in a cup of well boiled or bottled distilled water. A few saline packets in the box is fine but I would need hundreds of packets. So mixing my own is the way to go. If you know you're going to be using this for more than 3 months, you might as well buy more than one. Manufacturer recommends discarding after 3 months, and I don't really blame them. I have to keep these clean to avoid reinfection. On the day I bought it, the 2-pack was cheaper than 2 singles, but I'm editing this review, considering I just checked again and as I write, it's cheaper to buy 2 singles. So you might want to double check the prices. Honestly it's 4 star if you need it, but I don't find the process easy, considering the water that can't be tap water, the mix, warming the solution, cleaning the stuff, really I don' have anything good to say about it, except that there is just no substitute for the squeeze bottle. About the squeeze bottle in general, no matter how you buy it, it has the advantage of moving the solution very quickly, if that's what you want to do. In my case that's what the MD wants me to do do. About the bottle, well like I said this is the way to get fast circulation. You can make it go slow as you like though. If I didn't need the fastest possible squirt, I actually prefer the Nasaline syringe, also made by the same company, Neilmed. The syringe is fast enough for me but, again, I was told to use the bottle, which does squirt much faster. As for the pots, I've never tried them so can't comment except seems like they would be kind of slow and also I wouldn't be looking forward to cleaning them either. Also there's gadgets that pump the fluid up your nose - those sound really hard to clean.

Though I am not a nasal rinse fan, this product has been the one that I use, I tried others but always return to using this one as it works best for me

I use this product daily for medical issues, works great. It’s great to buy the replacement bottle with just a few of the nasal rinse solution since the bottle needs to be changed every 3 months. I have lots of the nasal rinse solution, but basically just need the bottle for the usual replacement time. Nice to have 2 included with order, now I’m good for the next 6 months!

I use Neilmed for nasal rinse and it's hard to find just the bottles. Should be replacing the bottles every six months or so. Easy to order from Amazon. Fast shipping too
