I’ve been using this product for many years now and I have to say that I couldn’t make from day to day without it. I searched endlessly for an adhesive that contained no zinc in it. With this being my first try I feel in love right away. It holds great and has no awful taste. If you have ill fitting dentures it will work but it doesn’t last long as it should. You will have to trim it down to size I usually get about three uses out of one strip so you definitely get your moneys worth. I recommend to any that is search of something better this is it give it a try!!!

If I had not found these strips I wouldn't be able to use my lower denture. I have major bone loss and so my bottom gum is very flat. You can cut them to size and I am able to get two uses out of each strip. I can only imagine the great support it would give to someone without bone loss. Try it, you can't lose.

OMG, I just tried this - Secure Denture Adhesive Strips - While I was waiting for the 15 minutes, the dentures did get very tight, but then it felt like I had a lot of strong cinnamon candy in my mouth to where it got very uncomfortable. I went into the bathroom to take the dentures out, and I couldn't get them out. I could not budge them. I hurried and put hot water in my mouth, I had to rock them back and forth. After the 3rd cup of hot water, they started to loosen. The lower dentures were harder to get out. It left a thick film on my gums and dentures, I used my tooth brush and toothpaste to get that out. I'll never try this stuff again. I'm glad I got the small box just to try them. I tossed them right in the trash.

These strips were better than any other adhesive for dentures that I have tried. These strips do hold for hours. Even after drinking hot coffee they still keep my lower denture in place. I only gave four stars because they do not last all day. They do tend to give up by the time I'm trying to eat dinner.However, now I just add new strips or the Secure cream a little while before dinner and I'm good for dinner and the rest of the day.I wish I only had to apply something once a day but I'm thrilled that I can at least eat and drink throughout the day and only have to apply something twice. The other strips and creams that I have tried didn't allow me to eat or drink at all. I've only had dentures for a couple months and I was getting very depressed because it did not seem like I would ever be able to eat or drink while using dentures. I feel so much better now after trying these strips. I was even able to eat a sandwich without having to use a knife and fork! I had to be careful how I bit into it but that's because I'm still learning how to eat with dentures.There is a slight tingle when I first put the denture in but it only lasts about a minute or so. It is not bad enough that it would keep me from using it or make me afraid that I was hurting myself.These strips are way too big for my dentures but I've been able to cut them in such a way that I get three uses out of one full strip. That definitely helps with the cost.The other thing that I like about these strips is that they have no flavor. I don't like the products that have meant flavoring because then everything tastes like mint. Also there was another brand of cream that wasn't flavored but it had a bitter or sour taste. Not only do these strips work but they don't have that mint taste or that sour taste.When I first ordered them I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to get them out once they were in. It takes a little bit of time to get them out but you just have to work them a little. Then I use a toothbrush to brush my gums with warm water to get the any leftover adhesive off them. The strips peel right off especially when I soak them in the secure cleaning solution.I will definitely be ordering more of these. I know there is nothing else out there that even comes close to working as well. I hope they never stop selling these on Amazon because I have not found them in any stores. Try them, you will be pleasantly surprised at how well they work.

I have been a long time user of this item for my lower denture. The older version were great. Most of the time I could go 12 hrs. Without an issue. My last order was the new version of the secure denture pad. They reduced the number of adhesive pads to 15 from 16 and they now have a waffle pattern in the adhesive which means less adhesive than before. I am lucky if I can get 6 to 8 hours before I have to replace the adhesive pad. Which means I am using about 40% more adhesive strips in the same time frame as before. That means an increase in cost of 40% as well to maintain my denture. I am looking for another brand to buy because the Secure adhesive strips are now junk compared to before and the cost has increased substantially. Very disappointed. I emailed the distributer three times with no reply. Just putting this out there as a warning. Secure has cheapened there product. I would pay more for the Secure product if they had made it better. They did not.
