Maria Nila Color Refresh, 10.1 Fl Oz, Color Bomb, Semi-Permanent Pigments, 100% Vegan & Sulfate/Paraben free

I colored my hair for the first time in over 15 years, usually my go to is a dark auburn, I like reds for my skin tone. I tried a new color, all natural, recommended by a friend and the color was supposed to be dark red. It turned my hair a horrible copper penny color, very light and harsh. I did not want to re-dye and through research found this product, read every single review and ordered. I got the cacao intense as I needed to darken but hopefully keep the red tones. My hair is short, very fine and thin so it didn't take much product. I was nervous about how dark it would be so I diluted with some water, put on damp hair, applied with a toothbrush which worked really well and once saturated combed through. I didn't want to leave on too long, the directions said 3-7 minutes so I did approx. 4, rinsed and conditioned. The results were amazing. I wanted it a bit darker, still had a bit of copper shine so I reapplied but this time did not dilute and I kept is on longer, maybe 5-7 min. I am so amazed by how well this worked. The color came out so good, exactly as I wanted and my hair is super soft. I used Carols Daughter Goddess strength fortifying conditioner after rinsing and my hair looks and feels amazing. I saw many comments in the reviews that said it stained the tub or sink and to be sure to wear gloves but using the toothbrush and comb I didn't need gloves and if any color got in the sink while applying I rinsed right then and no problems at all. The tub is fine as well. I would say do first application on the cautious side, diluted and for a short period and see how it looks as you can reapply if it's not there yet. So happy I found this. In regards to some saying it's expensive, it's really not. The tub will last for many applications especially if you have shorter fine hair like mine. So totally worth it and it saved the day.

I used this product for a while when I lived in Sweden. I'm so excited it's available on Amazon. It's a gentle coloring product and I find my hair is healthier after using it for a period of time.

I love this color! This conditioner is very gentle and smells amazing. It deposits color and tones in between hair appointments. I highly recommend it. If you are looking to tone down brassiness on dark blonde hair, this works great. Does not darken highlights which I love.

Especially in the summer sun, my blonde colored hair becomes lighter and washed out. I've tried a variety of color depositing products with minimal results. First try today with cocoa was noticeably darker without looking artificial. I'm hopeful of continuing good results, especially as this product is expensive.

Color Refresh is expensive, but after trying several color depositing shampoos, conditioners and masks, I keep returning to Maria Nila. I use Pink Pop and Dusty Pink, both give my hair a strawberry-blonde look. I have very long hair and a bottle lasts me a good bit. The color slowly fades after washing, but using cool water, it lasts 3-4 washes for me. I dyed my hair red which quickly faded, the Color Refresh gives me back the look I was going for without re-dying. It does stain your hands temporarily and can stain your shower.

I purchased the violet color to tint my balayage medium blonde hair. The result day one was vibrant, and after the first wash it faded to the most beautiful mermaid purple blue shade. This faded even more by the second wash and after the third it’s now a turquoise blue. 20 washes later I cannot get the blue out of my highlighted hair. I’ve tried baking soda and vinegar and will next try vitamin C. Even clarifying shampoo won’t fade this completely so beware if you have any bleach in your hair THIS COLOR WILL NOT COME OUT!!!

If you have (colored) red hair, you know it's really hard to keep up with! I love the bright red conditioner! It keeps my hair a very vibrant red in between coloring. Be warned, it definitely does stain hands, towels, etc but it's worth it!

Holds very well and leaves hair feeling very smooth!

Leaves your hair with a beautiful shine and you see the difference if your hair was faded! Nice and rich!

J’ai le cheveux blond foncé et j’ai appliqué la premiere fois pendant 6 minutes. Je n’ai pas vu de changement majeur, j’avais un peu de reflets roux. Je compte donc remettre un seconde fois ! Le produit sent très bon et n’a pas abimé mes cheveux.

I gave it 5 stars because it really works but...use lightly. It turned my aubern hair pinky red after 4 minutes left in. Nice shine, soft and smooth.

I love this brand & this colour did not disappoint 💖 It does take a little extra scrubbing to get it out of your hair but it's worth it 💙 The only thing I don't like is that you'll only be a third of the way through the bottle before you have to start really shaking it to get it out

It’s my third bottle, it takes time to show the result but it gives a nice colour and removes the brass lights and smothering hair and the bottle is small but it lasts so long..
