These peppers are crunchy, and they are spicy. The packaging was good, and the jars had a thick tape around the top so they wouldn't leak in shipment. Trappey's is a recognized, reputable brand. 4 stars because they are a good, crunchy hot pepper.For me, they have that "I just came out of a pickle jar" taste. It's hard to describe, it's like an "I've been in vinegar too long" kind of flavor that I'm not looking for in jalapenos. I like peppers that taste fresher, as well as being crunchy and hot. I found the DeLallo peppers to be crunchy and fresh, but not hot (even though labeled hot, they weren't). Mrs. Renfro's peppers are sometimes hot, sometimes not, but generally good, but hard to find. Mezzetta jalapenos are also very crunchy and fresh, but not hot.

What could I possibly say???Trappey's have always been and still are the BEST (and hottest) pickl;ed jalepenos on the market.I suppose some like the trasmission fluid-like sheen they see when they open a can of "San Marcos" jalepenos or maybe the pure mushiness of "La Costena".NOT UNDER THIS ROOF!!! We'll enjoy Trappey's thank you very much.

The Package was delivered on estimated date of delivery. Also, the package was securely packaged to prevent breakage. As far as the item itself, these are my favorite jarred jalapeños.

Two jars were opened and leaked all over the whole box. They had to be thrown away. It was a mess. Order stated a couldn’t return or get replacement.
