The color and quality of the wooden handle is amazing and really looks great on my Breville. It also works well and fits snugly. I can definitely pull much better shots with this. It’s also got some good weight to it. I have tried other portafilters before where the handle would unscrew and loosen easily. This one is holding up great so far. I would highly recommend!

The media could not be loaded. I’ve been looking for a bottomless portafilter for my Breville for a while now. I’ve tried buying a few online from coffee sites but felt like they weren’t worth the hefty price tag. This one was priced very well and decided to pull the trigger.This comunita one actually has the best build quality and there’s a nice weight to the handle. The stainless steel handle actually really complements my Breville machine.The best thing about this portafilter is the basket. I’ve purchased a couple of the $30 so called “precision” baskets on here on Amazon but they don’t even come close to this stock comunita one that was included FOR FREE. I was able to get a beautiful looking pull - no channeling or anything. It’s real nice and heavy but this summabitch is clunky as fk. You have to hold it when your getting the grind. Once you get the grind size down this thing pours a mean shot. It’s pretty cool to see the shot being poured. You can see the channeling if any and helps you adjust your shot. Just wish it wasn’t so damn clunky and more light weight

Ordered this to replace the portafilter basket that came with my breville barista express. I liked having the bottomless design because it is easier to clean and i can visualize the extraction. My initial impression of the product was that it looked nice but it was heavy, much heavier than my previous portafilter basket. It seemed to reflect a good build quality, but it is very heavy nonetheless. For months it has functioned as expected, but caution, the three tabs are slightly different then the original basket. if you do not tighten basket with a very strong force before extracting, it can loosen and fall. This has happened three times now and has broken glass cups sitting under my portafilter.So overall its a nice piece of equipment, but heavy and doesn't seem to seat as well as the original basket. Caution to secure the basket tightly otherwise it will loosen and fall. I have since switched back to the original basket.

Build quality seems great.I’ve got a Breville Bambino, and it fits, just not tight enough in the group head. Coffee sprays out all over the place between the group head and the portafilter.

If you're looking to replace your portafilter or upgrade the one you have, this is a perfect choice. It's heavier than most, which is good. Wooden features add a classic touch. The basket, which comes with the portafilter, is adequate and serves the purpose, but you might wish to purchase a different one, just in case. It's a snug fit, again, which is good. Just sorry they do not make it in 58mm. Well worth it.

The product looks great and it has a great feel to it, but the handle unscrews much too easily. Because the weight is all in the handle also, it doesn’t really work with portafilter tamping stations. The basket had random huge holes spread throughout that I got the weirdest extraction I’ve ever had. Created no pressure at all. The wood is starting to comeOff and it leaves little splinters sticking out. The product would not be bad at all at a cheaper price, but at this price point, you’d think it would be built a bit better. Also, I’ve never had a portafilter with this much grip on the basket. Seems like a dumb complaint, but it genuinely is wayy too hard to remove. That on top of the loose handle, and the bad basket makes this not worthwhile, at least for the price. I’ve paid half for portafilters much better quality. I got this one because it seemed really pretty and well built from the pics and reviews.

To start off, the filter basket pulls an amazing shot if the grounds are prepared correctly, no complaints there. Latches onto my breville bambino perfectly fine. However, Im not impressed with the build quality of the screw mechanism between the pieces of the handle. The metal piece at the end of the handle feels great and heavy, but is always loose and whenever I grab the handle it loosens a bit forcing me to retighten. The portafilter is also very bottom heavy because of the end piece, which feels really weird when preparing shots.Edit: The end piece keeps falling off now making it quite unusable. Might have to just return this now...2nd Edit: Might have gotten a bad batch on my first order, customer service reached out and sent me a new one, superb! New portafilter feels just as nice in build quality but I added some thread lock for the end piece that seems to have done the trick keeping the piece in place. Weight of it still feels a little off for my preference but definitely contributes to the good feel in the hand.
