Extra Strong Trigger Power Switch Button for Dyson V11/V10 Cleaner Repair Fix Tool

The trigger on our Dyson V11 broke. Apparently it’s a common problem. I got this and replaced it myself. Fairly easy to do, just find a YouTube video to follow. This one seems a bit more durable than the original Dyson trigger. It is still plastic so time will tell. So far so good!

The trigger on my $700 five-year-old Dyson V11 broke, so I bought this part and fixed it per instructions from a youtube video. Took about three hours and some of that time was spent cleaning. Once you start taking the vacuum apart, it will make a MESS! It's been a very good vacuum; however, after spending $700, I should NOT have to do this job after only five years of weekly use. This is actually my second cordless Dyson. I had the first one for about six years and had to replace the battery once; and that's ok, it's maintenance. However, the plastic became very brittle and the thing literally fell apart. I'm now starting to have the same problem with this one too; the lower part of the handle, where it connects to the battery, has cracked and I've had to reinforce it with duct tape. That said, our corded Dyson "Ball" still works fine after 15 years or so.

Perfect fit, it does claim to be reinforced however the reinforcement isn’t where the old switch had broken so not sure how long it will last, but at that price if it lasts a year it will still be a lot cheaper than buying a new Dyson Vxx
