Ok so I ordered one - and I could NOT get it to work. So I chatted with the tech... he sent me a return label. So 3 days later I get a new camera!OMG. So I could not figure out how to get it to work... did not push there correct combo of buttons - but when I did! WOW! There is a little hesitation but the image is perfect! I teach on line and so NOT want to type chemistry and physics formulas in all day. In half a second I can write an equation - my students see it.. the work and answer it!Some people said you can not get close enough to the text... well there is a zoom - and it works!Some people said it did not come with a power cord... you plug it in to the usb and that powers it and connects to the computerSome people said the picture is not perfect - Ladies and Gentlemen you are spending $70 NOT $370 +Anyway I love it - my students love it! Win Win!

This was supposed to be a new document camera. When I opened the package, the camera was not in protective wrapping, there was a rub spot on the side of the vertical part of the arm where the finish was marred. Annoying, but not a big deal. When I took it completely out of the packaging, I discovered the cable, manual, and software disc were all missing. (It also doesn’t come with a power cable, so don’t keep your hopes up there.) On the underside, I found a label attached to it stating it came from a teacher’s classroom.So I have paid full price for a scuffed up, used device that is missing the cable and software instead of the brand new unit it claimed to be. Worse, I won’t even know if it works until I find a replacement cable at a reasonable price, because I’m NOT coughing up the cost of another document camera for work. If you buy it, tear into that package and check it over ASAP! Make sure EVERYTHING is there so you don’t end up with a second hand paperweight because you were too busy to check it before the return window closed.

I am so excited to use this in my classroom with my students. After being disappointed and returning another document camera that I bought off amazon, I was VERY impressed with this one! The image quality is great AND there is no lag whatsoever with the image!! The light was definitely a nice touch as well. The only concern I had while opening it, was the software cd disc. It was a a mini cd disc that was 8 cm in diameter. I personally have had no experience with a cd that small and did not want it to get stuck in my computer, however, I downloaded the software from their website with no issues! This was money well spent!!!

I bought this for a colleague at my school whose old camera died and wasn't able to get a new one in a timely manner. She has repeatedly raved about how well this has met the needs in her classroom. She had constant problems with the old one and this one WORKS! Kudos to the manufacturer!

I've been using this little camera at work for several years now. It's very easy to use and the quality of the picture fine.If you stretch the neck of the camera out, it tends to fall over, so you need to put something on the base to hold it down. I use an old laptop battery! Works great. However the software allows you to zoom in, so it's not usually even an issue.Not sure why this has so many 1-star reviews. It's not going to be as nice as a $400 document camera but it's perfect if you just want a straightforward way of displaying documents on a computer screen or projector and don't want to spend a bundle.

Ok for the low price. It doesn’t have zooming capability.

I bought this camera back in February. It was adequate for projecting in my classroom. The picture was grainy and there was a delay, but if you need something affordable to project or snap a picture, this will do the job.The interface isn't incredibly user friendly, but again, it works. My biggest complaint is that i can't screen share on Zoom with this camera to work with my students at home. With other doc cams I've been able to share my screen and show what I'm writing through Zoom, but the program for this camera crashes every time I try. I've attempted to use the document camera as my primary camera in zoom, and that crashes it too. It's essentially useless for me now, which is a shame.

I bought this to use in my classroom, and the first one was defective. I contacted the company directly to invoke the warranty and had a reply within a day. They sent a brand new one, no questions asked. I haven't had a lot of opportunity to use the replacement yet, but the little bit that I have used it, it's impressive. This Longjoy overhead document camera is a great value for the price; it's easy to use, and the customer service is excellent!
