Amazing Deal
I was a little worried to order from this seller since the price seemed too good to be true, but the computer has shown no issues. It's super quiet and looked brand new when I received it. I took out one of the 8gb cards and replaced it with a 32 gb, so I'm at 40 total and it's lightning fast. Would absolutely recommend!

Lasted less than 1 year, and ASUS wants $85 for a diagnosis
To start with the good: This laptop ran CAD quite well, I could run pretty hefty Excel models without running into any issues, and the speakers were quite good for a laptop. I do not recall the laptop slowing down or glitching in any way, other than the issues I'll describe below. But, these issues provided to be quite frustrating, and has resulted in a non-functioning laptop *9 months* after purchasing it. Ultimately, I've got to say I'm pretty disappointed. And issues started about 2-3 months in. **Laptop Would Randomly Sleep While Working** Within 2-3 months of purchasing this laptop, I noticed the screen flickering / going into sleep mode while working. After some Googling, it seemed like the problem had to do with a faulty closed-lid sensor. This made sense - when I kept my wrists away from the edge of the laptop, the screen would not go black randomly. (Not a great user friendly experience, it was a bit of a drag, but diagnose-able). **Blue Screen of Death** About a week ago, I ran into the dreaded blue screen of death. I haven't been able to turn my computer on since (I've tried re-installing Windows, all sorts of reboot procedures, nothing worked). **ASUS Offer: $85 to run Diagnostics** I called ASUS, and the only option they are providing me is to pay $85 to send it in, to diagnose the problem, and to then quote me for the cost of repair, if feasible. I can understand charging me for a repair when not under warranty, but I'm pretty upset with the fact that they want to charge me to see what is wrong with the laptop. This laptop lasted about 9 months. So much for standing by your product.

Absolutely worth it's price, but not a perfect machine
Yeah it's a great machine, got mine from Best Buy while on sale for $1100 but even at $1200 it's well worth it. Has the typical IPS laptop screen glare spots around the edge of the screen. This is typical of every IPS laptop I've owned (even Apple laptops). It's noticeable in dark scenes but not at all noticeable when you're playing the actual game. Posted a screen shot of it. Screen is the best gaming laptop screen I've seen yet (minus the mini-LED screens of course). My 1 complaint (not really a complaint) is the 8GB of RAM already soldered to the board, thus you get 1 slot to add either 16 or 32 GB, and it will still do dual channel up to 16 GB, after 16 GB (which really wouldn't be pushed by any game) will use the single channel mode. I can't imagine you'd notice it or it'd make a difference. Any game you play will not pass or come close to passing the need for 16GB. But I added a 16GB stick to bump total to 24 just to feel good about it, will probably never use that much, even in productivity/development apps. In summary, it's a great gaming laptop, love the 16" 165Hz screen, love the fact that the screen lifts up the rest of the body of the laptop to let the fans get more air. I run the silent mode in ROG Crate application and have not had any issues, if you run Performance or Turbo the fans get loud (like any other gaming laptop). The keyboard is the best feeling laptop keyboard I've ever owned. Love it, love the backlighting feature as well. Trackpad is good but I hardly use it.

Fail keyboard
Keyboard fails 75% of the time. Definitely frustrating in a game session. All keys fail until it randomly works again. Only keys that haven't failed is the volume and mic keys above Keyboard. 100% don't get. Would say it's only mine that fails but Google it and it's a common issue that is a huge one in gaming laptop

Great Temporary Quality
Hardware is a great bang-for-your-buck, but the physical design and the software on this thing are terrible. Fans break constantly, charging port degrades by design and needs constant replacements, and the software completely breaks at times. Not to mention the very well known issue with this laptop of the keyboards keys slowly giving up on life and refusing to work, then suddenly working, then suddenly not working. If you want a powerful but short lived laptop, than go with this but do no expect it to last more than 2 years.

El teclado no funciono después de los primeros días

Muito rápido, bonito e fluido, não apresenta gargalos. Só fico um pouco agoniado porque ele junta muita marca de dedo no teclado e no apoio da mão.
