Thinksmart - Family - Nintendo Wii

I love this "game" because it engages the brain on multiple levels. Each task measures competence in a specific area. The multiple player games are designed so that you can play against the program or each other in teams.

This game is a lot of fun and very challenging except that sometimes the remote does not activate the screens as they should. We made sure the remotes were fully charged but they continue to hesitate when a subject is selected and is very annoying when you are in a close game with your spouse.

This game isn't for someone looking for fun. It is an educational game. It gets you to solve various problems & some are even over my head. Too hard. Not for the younger grandkids. Some of the games they never heard of or played.

I have been anxiously awaiting the Think Smart Family game and had it on pre-order forever. Unfortunately, it did not live up to its hype. You can only choose adult models, they move very suggestively if you choose a female, it's not intuitive at all, it takes forever to start. When you finally manage to get in to the game, there is a training academy that has some fun games, but they are kind of hard to figure out what is where. It's definitely a 1 player game in the training part. They do have some two person challenges, but unless you have done the training part, it's hard to figure out what to do on some of them. My controller seemed to not be responding well either, but that may be the controller. My son played a while, but not for long and I couldn't even talk my daughter into trying it after she got so disgusted with the avatars. Get Boom Blox - it's much more fun.

my husband and I are doing this game because we are old and want to keep our minds alert. I hope it works.

The game is a little hard to navigate and moves a little slowly, but it is challenging. The sexist behavior of the avatars is a little distracting. The game does what it is suppose to do, which is provide intellectually challenging puzzles.

This game was fun, however it is hard to figure out how the whole family plays each other. That being said, the questions are great and challenging enough for everyone other than my youngest whom they were a little too advanced for.

I bought it to help my husband who has Alzheimer to keep his brain working, but it is too complicated and he has discarded it after few times. He is old and the physical exercises were not of his liking. I found it much worse than other brain games we have and absurdly complicated.

Not thrilled. Wasn't what I expected. Thought there would be more mind games. Quite a boring game.
