This thing works great! I used it when we went to Maui and it kept my insulin pen at the correct temperature. I would periodically check the green light to make sure it was still at temperature every time I would go in and out of different temperatures and it was always green. Next test will be when we travel to Thailand and see the real differences in temperature going from inside to outside.

I bought this pen for a cross-country trip. When I received my order, I found two clear plastic tops but not the cooling device. I ordered a replacement, which was sent out quickly. I received my replacement which was as it should be. I tried the pen out and it kept my medication cool. This will work out perfect for the trip.

This is an excellent product for keeping any insulin pen cool-at the correct temperature. You never have to worry about having an ice pack or putting your pens in the fridge. It makes traveling so much easier as well!

This is truly a life saver for me to keep my insulin safe from temperature extremes. I keep my pen in my purse all year and being out and about in varying weather can make keeping the insulin at a constant temperature challenging. I bought one of these last year and it worked perfectly and I was impressed the way it kept my insulin at the correct temperatures.A week or so ago it stopped working correctly so I contacted customer service . The treatment I received from them was absolutely the bestRon who was dealing with my problem was positive and immediately told me that I would receive a new unit but in the meantime told me how I could try and reset the unit I already had, unfortunately it did not work . Ron had one sent out to me immediately and I received it within a week of my fist contact with Ron.I love this unit as it give me freedom to come and go with no worries about keeping my insulin at the proper temps.Again Thanks Ron .

So I live in AZ and I wanted to test this. So it was stored in the house where its about 76 degrees. I put an empty pen in it, then moved it to my back patio where today its 108 and set it in the shade, not sun. (We are up to 54 days this year OVER 110, so this is not an unrealistic test for here.). I checked it in one hour and 40 minutes later, and the light was red and temp close to 100. The package doesn't give any exact specs but talks about over 100 degrees for 10 hours. Certainly at 108, it didn't even make to two hours.If you live where its hot, basically 60% of the US now-a-days, don't buy this.

So far it seems like it’s working great. Does everything it says. Green light is on, which is supposed to mean perfect temp, but honestly the only time I saw a red light was straight from package (delivered on a day where temp was 105+). Keeps my meds safe daily. Don’t regret this purchase one bit!
