Q: Can I rub my hard boiled egg on this lamp?

No, the instructions weren't very clear, so I called the company, and they said that the calcium in the egg shell would have a very negative reaction with the trace minerals in the lamp, so they recommend only rubbing cooked scrambled eggs on it. Hope this helps, trolls gotta stick together.

It’s a good thing when it’s not sweating I have 12 Salt Lamps through out my home. None of them has ever sweat.

Q: Do you feel safe leaving on at night while you sleep? I worry about leaving lamps like these on at night Incase of fire.

It’s a low watt bulb so it’d probably be ok. However I don’t leave it on all night just to be safe.

Q: how long does the lamp last?

I have several Himalayan salt lamps, a couple of my 10-15 pound lamps are 20+ years old and I keep the bulb on almost 24/7. I replace the bulbs every 2-3 years. If the lamps are protected from high humity, and not dropped, they will last for generations.
