Q: Can the Terrycloth towels be washed and reused on future projects or are they to be discarded after they become saturated with the buffed off oil?

I suggest discarding the towel. I'm thinking turpentine is the only thing that would clean it and a new towel would be more economical and more environmentally safe. I tried Dawn to soak the towel in. No luck. Tried alcohol and windex on the jar husband used that had it all over the outside of the jar. Windex with a lot of scrubbing removed most of the residue. I told my husband we should burn the towels in the burn pit.

They do not go by grit numbers as they cut differently. But White is the softest of the standard pads. usually considered to be around 1000-1500 Grit

Q: Can this be used on a covered exterior door?

I don't know if is for exterior use. Probably be ok, but would probably need recoated often if exposed to elements daily.

Q: Can you put this on stained wood?

I put it on stained and finished wood. It conditioned it as well as made it smell amazing.
