A versatile head torch, but quite pricey
This is a fairly versatile head torch, it has a motion sensor which allows you to switch it on and off with just the ‘wave of a hand’ - this is useful as you don’t have to fumble about for the switch. The head torch doubles up as a bike light, you just fix it with the clamp which is provided. The light is quite bright and the battery life is good, the battery recharges through a USB C lead which is provided. This head torch is heavier than those that I usually use, however at 4oz it’s still pretty light in weight. It is comfortable to wear and the lighting levels are pretty good. At the time of my review this LED head torch would cost you £22.99 which is a bit pricey - yes, it does have a magnet incorporated and it does double up as a bike light…..however that doesn’t really justify the price.

Very well-featured versatile head-light.
I have reviewed many head torches, because they are so useful, and I have been able to recommend all of them. This one stands out for its combination of the best features, and for its additional functionality as a bicycle light. It can be attached to a bike using the provided bracket and quick-release fitting. Also unusual is the magnet embedded in the rear of the unit that allows it to be attached to ferrous metal, for example under the bonnet of a car. It's not the strongest magnet, but secure enough if not knocked. The elastic strap can be removed quickly to accommodate these additional uses. The single unit contains the battery and lights, and is fitted to a clear plastic bracket that allows it to be tilted through a range of angles with fixed stops. It is comfortable to wear on the head, and is a convenient way to light your work whilst leaving your hands free. The rubber-covered switch cycles through the lighting modes. It's good to see that you can switch off directly from any mode after a few seconds. Some devices make you cycle though to the end, which can be annoying. You can also switch on a hands-free sensor mode by a long press in any light mode. You can then turn the light on a and off by a wave of the hand. A very useful option. It's one of the brighter lights of this type, and has a good-sized battery, consistent with light weight. Charging is via a USB-C socket. A short lead is supplied. Blue LEDs indicate charging status. The additional features and intelligent control setup of this torch may justify its higher- than- average price.

Keeps your hands free
Update June 1023. This is a superb headtorch. I'm helping my son renovate a house and we need headtorches to be able to function properly. This is the best I've used and I'm getting 4 - 5 hours on full beam out of it.Original review: Excellent design. The idea of having a choice of light sources round your forehead is inspired and it works well. You can always use the single spotlight if you want but the second light with its colour variety is excellent. Add flashing or beam (at various intensities) to the mix and you have a great torch. Like most torches these days there’s several modes including strobe but I guess most people are just after a pretty standard torch and this ticks all the boxes (and leaves your hands free). It’s lightweight, can easily be dropped in your pocket and has a sensor allowing you to activate or deactivate it by waving near it. There’s a lot to be said for head torches. They used to be for cavers, active sportsmen and specialists but now everyone has one. After charging you’re supposed to have three to six hours of use though I haven’t tested it to destruction yet. The torch is advertised as IPX 5 waterproof. IPX5 means it can resist a sustained, low-pressure water jet spray so it’s almost waterproof (but not quite). It’s a great torch and will get a lot of use.

Great head torch
This LED head torch can illuminate your path well on your nighttime jogs.I tend to go out running a lot at night due to being busy at work all day, so of course, it is a lot harder to see at night in the forest, so this head torch is such a convenience for me. I am really happy with how bright it is and how you can just use a simple gesture to control it.The head lamp produces 1000 lumens of ultra-bright light which can illuminate a range of 100-200 meters. The bike lights emit a wide, bright, and clear light that improves visibility. Because it is coupled with very elastic cotton headband, it is lightweight and pleasant to wear.To activate the gesture detection mode, press and hold the switch for 2 seconds after selecting the desired light setting. With a single hand movement, the gesture sensor headlamp may be turned on and off. It has a 2000mAh battery and a type C charging connection that enables fast charging.Overall, the brightness levels are adequate, and it represents good value for money.

Lacks features at this price point
I feel For £22 this is a little overpriced or under spec’d as it comes with no instructions or specification sheet (not the end of the world as you only have one button and the clips are easy enough to work out) and the real oddity for me as it has a red light function is that it has no memory effect so you have to scroll through all the lighting modes before getting to the one you want and to turn it off. The magnet could do with being stronger or have two fitted as I found it just about strong enough to hold in place unless knocked. The headband is ok but again the clip that holds the torch is not the most secure. I did like the bike mount attachment as it was very sturdy. Brightness levels are good across the board but as I say for this price I would expect a memory function and better magnet
