Doesn't hold a charge and dies after a little while.

Bought for my elderly neighbor whom has problems with his hands and flicking a bic lighter. He was very happy! He had a big smile on his face!

I bought this for one purpose and that was to light up while riding my motorcycle. Yes the battery doesn't last for maybe a pack of smokes at a time but that's to be expected because it's a small lighter and doesn't have a big battery. It doesn't take but 45 minutes to charge it which I have a USB on my bike. As far as the coils go, you don't have to push your cigarette on it to light it, besides you don't want the burnt tobacco on the coil to begin with.So overall, I got what I paid for. Plus I always keep a backup Zippo in my pocket.

I had to update my review because I was ignorant to the fact that the cigarette is not supposed to be placed directly on the coil but in the lip before the coil and then when you inhale and hit the button it will definitely light it when it works it works very well but you're not going to be able to help but push that coil through sometimes and then if it pushes out the back and makes it hard to light. When it's off you can push the coil back through to make it even but I wonder how long will this last before it breaks the coil the battery life is not great it's about a night out but it's definitely good at lighting many things evenly just remember you don't place your cigarette on the coil and wait for it to light you place it on the lip and inhale. Only negative poor battery and I'm skeptical about the durability we'll see

I got this for my grandma for Christmas. She has arthritis and lighters hurt her the thumb. She absolutely loves this! Seems very solid and like it will last a long time as well!

There are not many great reviews on these types of flameless coil lighters and now I know why. Worked so well the first few times I used it. I used it to warm kohl eyeliner pencils for professional makeup jobs. But after just one job the lighter stopped working and will barely even turn on at all. It's quite disappointing. The concept of flameless and coil are such an incredible idea. Too bad the product is not long lasting.

In Florida on porch, wind....regular lighters get blown out. This lighter is great, compact and easy to travel with. I go on cruises and needed wind-proof lighter that didn't occupy much space. Charges up great. It's my "travel companion".
