DC62-00299A For Samsung Washer Check Valve

The washer would not drain completely and would go through errors for hours. Many things I read suggested pump issues, but the pump was running. When the pump stops, the water comes back into the washer. This check valve fixed it completely.

It fit perfectly and cleared up the problem immediately!

Good quality. I actually needed part #Dc62-00202a but it would have taken 3-5 days, so I tried this one which came overnight. The diameter of the outer ring and the flapper were a little bigger than required, so I had to do a little modification to make it work. Super glue works great on rubber. If you can wait, I would recommend getting the correct part number, although I'm very happy with how this worked out.

These go bad on Samsung washers and kill the pump make sure you replace this when you replace the pump.

The valve is a bit smaller than the original part. The circle flap part is smaller in diameter which means more water can pass through the drain at a much faster speed. That didn't work for me at all because the water was draining so fast that it began to overflood the pipes in the wall and leak. I just ordered this same part from Samsung's part department directly which cost about $51.00. I am hoping this one from Samsung directly will fit better. Yes, this is a great price but it might not do the job you need.
