Ok soap, not cheap
I am long time user of many fine shave soaps and seeing the reviews I thought I would try it. Obviously need to be more careful when trusting reviews. This soap is ok and works fine. But it is not anything I would call fantastic and here is why. There is a little bit of more slick needed in this soap when compared to others like tabac or le Pere Lucien. The fragrance is very faint and smells of pine sol. So net net I won't be buying this one again. I thought for the price and reviews they would be a competitor but I could name 10 more soaps I would repeat buy. And this is not going on the list.

Great scent and performance!! I will be trying other scents. It does like water, but when it's at the prime watch out!!

Love it!!!
Lathers like a dream and is super slick. The trick is to use warm distilled water. I first struck out using hard water. Smells like Lime Jello, which brings me back to my childhood...long before shaving was even a thought. The fact that it is vegan (no lanolin or tallow) and still offers a slick and protective shave as something like Stirling, is incredible.

Not This One.
Somewhat disappointing after all the hype about how good this is. Too much blade dragging for 2 days growth and face was dried out after 3 passes. Will pass on this and use what has worked for me in the past. Might work for someone else.

great scent good lather but not slick or post shave but tour a vegan no fat tallow is the still king
