Ordered one husbands pressure sores on heel. We tried one and he was comfortable all night with it--now ordering second for other foot. Too glad to find something that helps

The product was purchased to deter the development of bed sores on the heels of a bed - bound person. The seams of the fabric covering the foam are rigid and leave pressure marks on heels that last the entire day. This was also verified by a nurse and a physician. This is despite using both a folded washcloth and the folder piece of fabric to protect against the seam. I have never written a review online before but this product is damaging enough that it should not be sold. I will be calling Posey, the manufacturer, tomorrow and urge others who have purchased this product to do so, too.

This product is not medically safe for someone with heel pressure sores. Although adjusted tightly around the ankle with the Velcro strap, the device rolls around in the night so that the foot is no longer elevated and the sore heel is subject to rubbing, therefore compromised.

This item was supposed to help my mom instead it created bed sores on her legs etc. Do not use this product.
