Great hat
Really like this hat. It’s super lightweight and with the ability to be able to soak it with water to be able to keep my head cooler in hot weather while working outside in the sun. It really does keep my head considerably cooler. In my opinion it’s a win-win. Like it so much I ordered another one a few days after receiving the first one for every day casual use. I highly recommend it. Shipping was quick and received it packaged in sealed plastic bag.

Perfect for gardening in the hot sun
This hat is fantastic in my North Carolina home on the shore gardening requires a great deal of sweat. And, this Amazon purchase is 15% cheaper than at my local hardware store. Win-win.

It works but not a miracle
First of all, the hat fits well and seems to be very well constructed. It does in fact keep your head cooler, at least for a few minutes. I wear it on my daily 20 minute one miles walks when it's hot and sunny outside. It keeps me feeling a bit cooler than a normal cap or no cap at all. It does seem to lose its effectiveness after 20 or 30 minutes and it's a little messy to wet the cap, having a tendency to drip a bit down the back of my neck. I tried adding a few ice chips in addition to wetting it with water but that quickly gave me brain freeze. I do recommend the cap because it is somewhat effective and seems durable.
