Hands down better than anything else
works very well, simple to use Originally, i was going to get a Vectron one, but something told me to pick this instead, and i have no regrets. The build quality speaks for itself

Excellent product, definitely waterproof!
Great value for the wallet. The quality of the unit is solid. Terminations are hidden in the case. Unfortunately, you have to terminate the wires before you mount as the screws are on the backside. The size is perfect for my solar panel application. Easy to read and function as needed and gives you all the important parameter/readings to stay on track with your charging needs. Reads your battery very accurately. Great product

I needed a charge controller for some older tech solar panels.
I got this charge controller because the specs looked like it was more suitable for the older technology modules. By that I mean, it has a 21 V open circuit voltage 17 V max power voltage. The newer modules seem to have an open circuit voltage of 25 and operating voltage of 19. The small difference in voltage is a big deal, considering the operating parameters of a charge controller. I just recently wired it in to make sure it worked OK and in the process of finishing up a prototype box. The one thing about this charge controller I found curious is that it does not have a flap in the front that you can open and expose the screw terminals For connection of wires. So I had to pre-wire it screw the back plate on and then bolt it down through the cover of my box. That’s the only way I could see how to do it. So if you need to get a connections once it’s assembled it’s going to be difficult. Other than that it seems like a really good charge controller. I really like the LCD Display and it is easy to use. The red light that is showing is normal status. I can report back overtime if I have any issues with this, but as of now it’s new and working well. I’m using it to charge a gel style battery. Also it comes with a battery temperature probe, which is an important charging parameter. The probe end is a large ring terminal, which needs to be up against the battery case. Not bolted to something. Some small charge controllers do not have this feature.

a quality controller
` seems to be working well. Nice visible monitoring screen, too.

Just what I needed.
Works great and charges my three 12 volt LiFePO4 batteries that are connected in parallel using two 100 watt solar panels. It was just what I needed.

Excellent quality, fully sealed unit
Inhave tried several solar panel charge controllers, including the pricey Schumacher, and this one is by far the best. The unit is fully potted making it water-tight for outdoor use. The electrical screw connectors are standard full size unlike some of the other units which have reduced size connectors which make using standard crimp fork connectors impossible. The instructions are thorough and clear. I don't like the weird flashing display that you must refer to the instructions to decipher, but once the battery type is selected yiu really just need the voktage displayed to determine state of charge. You will probably want to get a set of polarized SAE connectors to allow easy disconnection but yiu can direct wire it. Works great with the Harbor Freight 25W panels and with the SAE connectors, the controller can remain mounted and connected to the equipment while the panel can be used elsewhere as needed. Very convenient.

10/10. Exceeded expectations.
Works perfect with my 6 amp solar panel. Bult my own solar power generator in a tool box with a 100 AH lithium battery. It's definitely water resistant. It survived a heavy thunderstorm.
