My teen decided that he wanted more storage room in his closet and didn't want his clothes on hangers anymore. He's always had difficulty folding shirts, though, and stopped wanting to try because he's a perfectionist. I told him that he would have to fold his own shirts if he didn't want them on hangers anymore because *I* wasn't going to fold them. After showing him a video of how to use one of these, he was amazed and asked me to buy one for him. As soon as it arrived, he happily set to work folding all of his shirts. Now my daughter and husband both want to use it, too, even though they're perfectly capable of folding shirts without it.This was one of the most affordable laundry folders I found on Amazon at $12.95, but they really shouldn't cost more than $10 (it's just cheap pieces of plastic with a cool design). It seems fairly sturdy when it's folded up but flimsy when opened. As long as it's folded up after each use and no one sits on it opened, I would imagine it should last for quite a while. I'm happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking for a way to make laundry a little less of a chore.

This item is a game changer. Folding laundry is quick and simple. My adult grandson who is autistic has always had trouble with folding laundry. He takes great pride in making all of the clothing items perfectly uniform. When you are finished using, it folds up so nicely down to one of the rectangles. It wouldn't lock into place like it said it would. Afraid to use it , don't think it's going to stay in place when someone grabs it .
